"Rustic and wonderful!! Various soaking options, beautiful grounds & flowers & butterflies and flora and fauna. We even saw a sloth and howler monkeys. Massages therapist has magic hands! We would def stay here again. Be prepared to travel far on bumpy road. Food was great off the ball inclusive menu. People soooo friendly! "

For travellers expecting luxury and air conditioning, this is not that experience. It is rural (some dodgy roads to get there), and basic but clean and well maintained cabins. "Nice hotel with loads of amenities and activities within the national park. Free hot springs. The only thing you have to consider is that you will always be eating in the hotel restaurants since there isn't anything within good distance. It's not a big deal since the restaurants are nice."

The property is near the Rincon de la Vieja National Park, although you must drive a little to get to the park. Hotel staff were knowledgeable about the park’s features and what was open on different days. We loved how remote and peaceful this hotel feels. Definitely use Waze to find your way to, from, and around the park. Sadly, we wasted valuable time getting lost, missing...
