"It is frustrating when hotels start giving you an inferior room than you have booked. We had booked a room with a seaview, but this was not the one this hotel tried pass on to us. This is unfortunately a classic event when we book through Hotels.com.
Also the aircons in our rooms were extremely loud, and could not be turned off."

"This was our 3. stay and it has totally CHANGED. We got a room smelling so bad of smoking and no excuse. The location is FANTASTIC by the beach and the smiling girl at the restaurant at night are wonderful. But the staff manager she is full of stories. We bought friends from Europe this time and they were treated so bad-like running after them at the beach with the bill for drinks they already had payed to another waiter. We paid a bill and and then they charged the same bill with our friends...

"Sonesta was alright as a whole. The good things about this resort is the facilities and the options and selections of restaurants, drinks etc. The bad things about the place is definitely the service. I have rarely experienced such bad service on a holiday. The service (or lack thereof) was mainly an issue in the restaurants, where the staff was rude. I even had a waiter rolling her eyes because I asked for a baby chair. "

"We really enjoyed our stayat the Morgan resort. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was large, modern and very functional. The infinity pool and surrounding area or beautiful. We were only there for a few days and loved how close it was to the airport both for flying in and out and for,and the view of the planes landing and taking off. "

"We stayed here four nights before catching a sailing ship. While not luxurious, this hotel was perfect for our needs. The decor was dated but everything in the room was clean. Sheets clean. The mattress was a little firmer than I prefer but fine for short term. No hot water in the kitchen sink or bathroom sink but the hot water and water pressure in shower were wonderful. Daily maid service. Kitchenette had cups, plates, utensils. Bring your own coffee. We brought cone fillets but there were...

"This hotel is in an excellent location and our room was large and comfortable. The supermarket on the ground floor had everything you could want but the coffee shop wasn't well stocked. Parking was easy and the security guards were helpful.
That said, we were there for 6 days and our room was never cleaned, despite asking twice to have it cleaned.
What was once nice furniture is not being kept up, two of our lights were not plugged in and had nowhere to be plugged in.
There was no explanation...

"I landed on Monday and the one small bar / restaurant they have was closed. We had to walk about 10 mins and get grocery’s. Then the ac button wasn’t working. There’s no staff on site all evening. The pool area is small than the pics and this hotel is NOT beach front at all. We ended up leaving to stay at the Morgan for 2 days because we did not enjoy our stay. The second day before we left to the Morgan spa hotel we went to pool area, there’s was no music the bartender/ server was sitting down...
