The best entrance and the hotel staff are super helpful and sweet. Simply a pleasure to stay there. A very welcoming and relaxing place. Also, the bar and restaurant are great!

This was a super cute, chic hotel with traditional elements in the room (tatami mats, low/futon style beds). The floor to ceiling window was awesome and I loved being able to lookout it from bed or have a light meal at the table and chairs in the room without missing the view. Everything in this hotel was new - great curtains, chic decor, great pajamas and cute pairs of traditional Japanese socks. The bathroom was also gorgeous and the enclosed shower and tub was nice and enjoyable. The amenities were great - large soap dispensers in the shower and bathroom. Didn’t particularly care for the tiny packets of skincare, felt with all that was being offered they kinda skimped on this. The coffee setup was cool for coffee lovers, but I tried it and wasn’t a fan. It’s a nice thought but not practical for a daily cup of coffee. Overall The room size is small and there was hardly room for our two carryon size suitcases but we made do. There could definitely be more storage or room for our stuff, but the little things in the room made up for the lack of space. The beds were so comfortable too! The location was decent for walking around, every place we wanted to go was about a 15 min walk which isn’t bad. There’s lots to see, eat, shop on the quiet streets of this area. The staff also was so nice and accommodating, I appreciated them booking a massage for me at another location, they arranged it all and it went so smoothly. Get the matcha fruit parfait upon check in if you can! Yum!

This is a great stay in Kyoto. The accomodation is comfortable (although we found the pillows / bed could have been more comfortable). The facilities are great including the onsen, the drink / snacks room, the gym and laundry. It’s about 15 min walk from the main strip in Kyoto.

Absolutely loved the jacuzzi spa after a long day of walking Kyoto. Also loved the free snack bar stocked with drinks, nuts, cookies and popsicles. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was pretty decent. Staff were polite though not especially friendly. Overall a great stay and we would stay again!

This is a beautiful property in a great city for tourists. we received vouchers for welcome drinks, breakfasts, and lunches. The restaurant was quite good. There were free snacks. The hot spring was terrific. All-around exemplary. We would stay again.

Lovely experience overall!! The hotel staff was kind and helpful and the atmosphere and amenities were wonderful. I enjoyed the lounge area and on s’en especially! The hotel rooms were a little too hot, as the ac seemed to not work, but overall it was a lovely stay.

Make no mistake, this is a high end hotel for a reasonable price. The hotel itself is immaculate - modern, well located, tranquil, and has a number of truly thoughtful amenities (an absolutely stunning public bath, fitness room, and restaurant bar). What is perhaps most impactful is the sense of thoughtfulness evoked; fresh bouquets, warm welcomes from the staff after coming back from a long day, or simply how the rooms are designed for comfort and relaxation despite a modest size. Highly recommend.

These property was very well located in between two main train stations and the neighborhood is feted convenient dining option especially for dinner as well as a grocery store and a pharmacy next door.The rooms are spacious enough and very clean.The personnel has been amazing anytime we needed anything.It has a laundry facility and a bath house inside.Amazing stay,very recommended.

Lovely hotel, couldn’t fault it. On arrival they gave us 2 free drinks vouchers and a free light lunch voucher for each day of our stay. Very good location about 10 min walk to the station. Facilities were very good free coffee, water and snacks. Would definitely go back.

Rooms felt claustrophobic, area around hotel was not nice, but safe. Breakfast was average but we did not enjoy it. The bath area was very special and enjoyable. Hotel entrance was cute.

I really liked the cozy beds, all the amenities and the shower! Morning buffet has lots of western & Asian options. There are several nearby restaurants and an Italian option within walking distance that has incredible pizzas, Cirq Italiano. The modern interior was also welcoming!!

Service and cleanliness amazing. Only minus was not at least bar service throughout the day. Got back from a long day of exploring and unable to get a beer until 6pm. But kept our bags on the final day after check out so we could sightsee before our train. Taff beyond amazing. Would stay again.
