Really nice hotel
I really like this hotel. I booked a twin room which had everything we needed. And it had a good size. Staff were very kind and helpful. Good breakfast and I loved the possibility to eat late breakfast. Located close to everything - the metro and centrum of the city.

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt (außerhalb der Touristenströme und schnell am Bahnhof sowie Fußläufig alles erreichbar). Sehr modernes Hotel mit Gesichtserkennung statt Hotelkarte, sehr praktisch. Zimmer ist ausreichend groß und das Bad sehr modern. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Stayed for four nights. We reserved two rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean. Excellent shower. The breakfast is good. Also is the happy hour. Subway and bus stations near by. The only con on our side was that there are only two washing machines. Be ready to doing laundry at strange hours. All in all very good Experience.

The hotel is generally good. The room is a bit small as a 4 star hotel. The black colour themed bathroom seems cool, but it's too dark for a bathroom. It would be more comfortable if it's brighter.

TikTokで14時まで朝食食べ放題と書いていたので宿泊したが、普通に11時半までだった。 温泉がついてるって書いてたのにサウナしか入れなかった。(日によって変わる?) 朝食やお風呂についてなんの説明もなかったし、そもそもチェックイン時に館内案内など一切なかった。 死ぬほど不親切です。ネットの情報を鵜呑みにしたのが悪いけど、少しでも説明した方がいいのでは?

Very clean , large rooms, comfortable beds, the ambience feels like high end hotel. Even restaurant in the hotel had good western food which was much needed after getting tired of eating Japanese food. You get one free drink also every night from that restaurant. Train station is 2 min walk which connects to Kyoto station so you can access all tourist attraction easily. Only Disadvantage: light is room too little, room is dark, can’t see yourself in mirror while getting ready. But I guess that’s the ambience they are trying to create. I would stay here again

The hotel is pretty basic but fairly new. What really bothered me is that they have a policy to charge 1000 yen for each hour of early check-in. That itself is not so bad except they have a check-in time of 5pm!! So if you want to get a little rest after a long day's travel, you are forced to pay up. This seems to be designed to squeeze a little bit of money out of each guest. It really leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Need many more washer machines on each floor since the washers and dryers weee mostly not available for use.Restaurant should be open for meals throughout the day and offer a fair number of vegetarian and vegan options.

Luxurious and spacious stay! If you’re looking for a higher end travel friendly (particularly english) stay this place is for you. The rooms and amenities are spacious and top tier. It’s rather expensive, but worth it for the luxury. The location isn’t the best but there’s a train nearby. The luggage room is really nice too since check in is very late. This is not the place for you if you want cheap travel or aren’t picky about your rooms as it wouldn’t be worth the cost. I for one though enjoyed all the luxuries!

Cool, chill vibe hotel. Sorta NYC SoHo energy. Staff was fantastic, super helpful and efficient. The rooms are designed well for a small space however they are quite dark. Minimal lighting and black/dark walls etc do not provide good lighting in the bathroom for applying any facial products/makeup. The area was a nice escape from all the touristy areas but still very convenient. Would probably stay here again.

全体的に良いホテルでした 残念なのは部屋の手洗い器が玄関付近の部屋の中にあるので使いづらかったこととシャワールームに鏡がない

Not 4 Stars! The hotel lacks a traditional lobby, offering only two benches and allocating the rest of the space to a restaurant. Toiletries, wrapped in plastic, must be collected from reception, raising questions about the effectiveness of sustainability efforts. The self-check-in process is complicated by staff assistance and the choice between key cards and facial recognition, with the latter raising privacy concerns and being unreliable due to maintenance issues. Key cards are color-coded by gender, which is peculiar. The late check-in time of 5PM may inconvenience early arrivals, and rooms are cleaned every two days, insufficient for the small space and minimal amenities like the tiny bin. Guests must request new towels and water, provided every other day. A free drink is offered, but requesting coffee over alcohol initially led to the suggestion of purchasing a refillable cup, before eventually receiving the coffee. The room's single-glazed windows don't adequately block noise or insulate, and the bedding is uncomfortable. The absence of in-room tea or coffee, despite providing a kettle and cups, and the insistence on using the sauna and bath without swimwear may not cater well to Western guests. With only two laundry machines for over 100 rooms, the facilities are inadequate. Suitable for short stays, but for longer visits, looking elsewhere might be advisable. The hotel's approach to sustainability and guest comfort needs reevaluation for a four-star rating.

Thank you for staying with us.Thank you for your valuable feedback.As for the room cleaning, we at sequence clean the rooms every two days for eco-friendly reasons. Towels can be changed on days other than cleaning days, so please ask our reception staff for towel changes.If you drink more than two cups of coffee or tea during your stay, the original tumbler is more economical than the regular price.They are also available at MIYASHITA PARK in Shibuya and sequence in Suidobashi. Guests can enjoy any number of cups of coffee or tea free of charge during their stay, so please stop by our hotel or any of our other locations when you are on your travels.We will continue to strive to make our hotel even better in the future. We look forward to welcoming you next time.

The face recognition scanner and the overall design of the place felt very futuristic and comfortable. For the price, I think it's a steal compared to many other hotels I've been to. Only downside is that I couldn't see the outside from my window and most good restaurants are 20 minutes away on foot. But solid location in the center of Kyoto, great service, restaurant was good, and its a few minutes from Gojo Station. If I ever come to Kyoto again, I'll most likey stay here again!

Convenient. Near many dining options like family mart, ramen, traditional Japanese breakfast, coffee shop and even McDonalds. However, if your room faces the main road, the noise is unacceptable. We cant sleep until 2am. Try requesting a quite room if available.
