The photos online look decent, but the reality was much worse. Reception staff barely spoke English.
The first room we were shown had a broken door lock. Two employees tried to open/fix it but failed, and the door handle was half torn off. The second room was larger, but one section of the glass balcony door had been replaced with cardboard taped in place. We were also asked to pay an extra 1,500 TL for it, so we refused. We ended up in the third room only because it was late, we were exhausted after a long drive, and had no real choice.
The room had serious hygiene and maintenance problems: dirty bedding with other people’s hair on the sheets and pillows, stained towels, a stained sofa, peeling plaster on the walls and ceiling, a very poor bathroom/toilet condition, a bathtub plug kept in a wet dirty bag, no air conditioning and no mosquito nets. In the hotel corridor, there were exposed wires coming out of the wall.
The only person who spoke English was Sammy, and he genuinely tried to help. But the real problem is the management, which has allowed the hotel to reach this condition. For this price, such service and room condition are unacceptable. I definitely do not recommend staying here.
