Luckily, I was travelling alone, but I have tried this in other places, and 1. I don't actually want to be able to hear what my partner is doing in the toilet or vice versa. Not sure why that comes as a surprise, and 2. If someone needs to use the bathroom during the night and there is only a glass wall: surprise, the sleeping partner is woken up by the light.

Another staff member arrived and politely and patiently waited until the receptionist had finished checking me in, before she spoke to the receptionist I commended both staff on that. Apartment and we were given a three bedroom apartment. It was nice and clean, spacious, and felt looked after. We used the hot pool and pool facilities, and found them nice and tidy too. The staff were all very professional, and lovely to deal with. "
