"You have to remember that this is a very remote location. On basis of that the food is very good. The setting is amazing so peaceful.
The hotel does not sell alcohol, this is not very clear on the description above, so has led to some negative reviews.

"Kite Hotel was wonderful. The views from our villa was incredible! The staff couldn't of been nicer! Property was in pristine condition! Only 4 months old!
Dont know if its possible but the addition of an Infinity Pool would make the Kite Hotel even more amazing!

Not on any Site Seeing Route, Much Lower altitude. No Valley view.
Very small property (1 acre) considering the distance from Munnar Town.
No walk way other than the one that connects the reception to your room.
Lawns approx 1000 sq feet. No activity other than one small badminton court.
Gardens, Lawns are not well maintained.

"Paid for family room-2 bd but was given separate rooms and the receptionist was rude to my cousin when she asked for clarification. Card payment machine was not working and insisted on cash payment on the spot. No deposit was needed. Had to make a stern statement to change our room to the one we booked and the receptionist showed unsettled face. Ambiance was good. Breakfast was poor with limited menu. I(We) wil not return again.
