Fint hotel men det kan på Ingen måde anbefales at købe halvpension. Personalet har simpelthen ikke styr på hvad der indgår i dette. Vi spurgte specifik om drikkevarer indgik og de svarer ja, men alligevel endte de med at løbe efter os ned ad gangen med en regning i hånden. Hvis man bare ønsker at være på hotellet under opholdet er det et fint men dyrt hotel! Der er ingen shoppingmuligheder i nærheden, men til gengæld en stor vej lige udenfor, inden man kommer til stranden. Stranden er i øvrigt heller ikke den bedste

We are sorry to hear that our half board package and services were not met your expectation; this is definitely not our intention. In the meantime, in relation to our location, we are purposely located away from the busy tourist towns as we are a holiday resort. We do however provide a shuttle bus twice daily to Ao Nang for our guests to explore the tourist precinct and to see the other side of Krabi. Maybe this option was not explained by our team – we are very sorry if this is the case.Once again, thanks for providing us your feedback and sorry that we let you down in certain areas this stay. Dejligt hotel men vær opmærksom på golfbanen
Super dejligt hotel med god beliggenhed og gode faciliteter. Dog er hotellets restaurant priser høje i forhold til nærliggende øvrige restauranter og hoteller. Største minus er golfbanen som bliver beskrevet som en lækker 18 hul bane, i virkeligheden er det en par3 bane med et enkelt par 4 hul.

Skuffende 'luksus' 5* hotel
Dejligt hotel med god pool men ligger afsides. Service og kvalitet af maden står absolut ikke mål med de høje priser, og de 5 stjerner er ikke fortjent. Mange danske turister!

We have also attentively noted your concerns regarding the price of our food and beverage. I am sure you will understand and appreciate the fact that we apply rates in line with other 5 star properties and also equivalent to the quality of service rendered. Secondly we obviously can not be aligned with the local restaurants or supermarkets. There is certainly, much more than between European countries for example, a price difference between the reality of a 5* property and local currency (in addition of the lower prices applied outside the hotel). Mainly the perception of our guests on our price applied is highly confused because of this deep difference. Dejligt hotel, god service gode fritidsaktiviteter
Dejligt hotel, med god service. Super sødt personale. Største minus var at priser på alt ekstra på hotellet er alt for høje i forhold til normale Thailandske priser, og der bliver charget ekstra for det meste, selvom man har købt halvpension. Og så det sædvanlige problem med at liggestolene reserveres på forhånd. Men generelt skønt hotel med en fantastisk pool.

Smuttur til Thailand
Vi havde en rigtig god ferie. Der er dejlige restauranter op af vejen der kan anbefales. Fantastisk mad til billige priser. Beach restaurant fantastisk spiste der mindst en gang om dagen. Langt bedre mad end på hotellet og til 30 % af prisen. Rigtig dejlige værelser og fantastiske sejlture med hotellets luksus speedbåde. Hotellet var lidt overfyldt med chartergæster. Liggestole skal reserveres personligt før 6:00 for at få en. Vejen mellem hotellet og stranden er meget trafikeret og meget støvet.

Used to be a great hotel - now it's just good!
We (family of four) stayed in the hotel in 2011, and found it wonderful. We therefore came back this year, but were somewhat dissapointed. The place does no longer have the same service level as before. Pool beds often lacked towels. Only one restaurant - pool bar - was open for lunch. The pool bar has a really limited menu, we found. Car transfers and speed boat tours had become relatively expensive. It is still a good hotel; just a pity that service dropped from great to good, and prices increased at the same time...

Lovely hotel with international atmosphere
Wonderful hotel for relaxing and SPA with a great pool. Children can run around in the whole area with no worries. Great activities for children close to the fitness center. Hotel restaurants are high quality but there is also easy access to local restaurants by the beach (cheaper). Need of tuc tuc to get into town. 20 min drive to Ao Nang.We will return :-)

The staff everywhere were fantastic especially at the pool bar and the lounge. Friendly staff everywhere, nothing is too much trouble. Very comfortable rooms. Huge pool and lots of spare sunbeds. Excellent restaurants. Amazing breakfast, such a big choice of food and great quality. Sadly jellyfish season so no swimming in sea but beautiful beach across the (small) road. Would highly recommend for people going to Krabi

Special birthday stay
Amazing stay at Sofitel Krabi for four nights in the end of January 2024 with my family, staying in a family room with a golf course view. Turned 40 years old during my stay and the kindness and service of the staff to make my day special was something I´ll always remember. From the amazing masseuses at the SO spa who made the beginning of my day so special with a song and a gift, the cleaning staff bringing me a cake ending with Pang decorating my family´s table at White Lotus restaurants - made my heart so warm and thankful. My younger kid loved the kid´s club and the massive swimming pool was a hit for my older kid specially. Would most definitely recommend Sofitel Krabi.

Es gibt viel zu wenig Schattenplätze und Liegen. Ebenso sind die Wege immer sehr lang, weil man immer entlang des ganzen Pool gehen muss, um auf die andere Seite zu gelangen. Das Frühstück war mit Abstand das beste was ich bisher erlebt habe. Freundlich waren sie allesamt. Wir hatten ein schönes Familienzimmer. Eine Matratze/Bett war nicht so bequem. Der Rest war hervorragend. In der Umgebung ist nicht viel los. Essen und Massagen sind trotzdem fußläufig erreichbar.

Nice property with a great swimming pool. Amazing kids club and kids pool area. Also great activities for kids. Few really nice local restaurants across the road from the hotel by the beach. 7 eleven few minutes walk from the hotel and couple of massage places. Other than that no shopping places nearby. Amenities at the resort are neverending....

Great resort and location
This is a great property with an amazing pool and amenities. Great for kids and families. The only downside is the food taste and quality. We did not find it up to the mark.

La struttura è molto bella e curata. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. La zona è ideale perché la spiaggia è sempre deserta e ci si può imbarcare per gite a isole con le long tail boats. Inoltre si può mangiare in spiaggia per pochi bath nei chioschetti sulla spiaggia. I ristoranti dell hotel servono cibo ottimo ma sono decisamente a prezzi europei. La colazione è strepitosa con ampia scelta. La struttura è talmente grande che non si ha l idea che sia affollata. La piscina è incredibile, gigantesca e ben tenuta. 2 aree di miglioramento: personale che parli inglese e l’acqua panna che costa decisamente troppo (290 bath). Dovrebbero offrire possibilità di scegliere un’acqua meno costosa.

Overall it was a wonderful relaxing stay. It’s more of a family oriented service resort. If you’re a couple traveler, you might need to find a more exclusive private resort. All the staff are trained to greet and smile to all guests. Other than that, if you’re asian like myself, you won’t be treated any special. They tend to focus on blond hair people, believe it or not?!

Wonderful
Perfect place for a few days in Krabi with amazing facilities and plenty of options for families (kids club, playground, inflated structure in the swimming pool, ping pong tables, etc...). The breakfast is wonderful with a huge variety of different cuisines and the staff always kind and super efficient. Signature tour to Hong Island was also a success.

The staff went above and beyond to make my son’s birthday extra special. They sang happy birthday with cake 3 times on the day, and made a special photo album with photos from our day tour. I’ve never had a hotel make so much effort. Jina was a great tour guide.

The beach chairs were normally removed from the beach and the red flag was displayed to notice the guests not to swim in the sea during this time for the safety reason. in relation to the beach, it is normally cleaned by our sports team every day. Of course, the conditions can change during the day with the tides, however on most occasions this public beach is very well maintained by us for the enjoyment of our guests. As a recent guest at the Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort, I can confidently say that my stay was quite comfortable and pleasant. The property is stunning and has a serene ambiance that makes it perfect for relaxation. However, I must say that the excursion tour to Phi Phi islands that I booked through the resort was not worth the money. The trip felt very rushed, and we didn't have enough time to enjoy the beauty of the islands properly. I was expecting a more leisurely experience, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Another area of improvement that I noticed was with the in-room menu and the Club Millésime food menu. As a vegetarian, I found that there were not enough options available for me. While the dishes that were there were quite tasty, I would have appreciated more variety in the vegetarian offerings. Despite these areas of improvement, I would still recommend the Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Krabi. The property is beautiful, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. If you're looking to explore the nearby islands, I would suggest looking for alternative tour options.

The hotel has not disappointed us. It is a beautiful building with lovely rooms. We had a family room that can fit 5 people. It was perfect for us as we were two adults and two kids. We were given a room next to the kid's club and the kid pool - it was perfect and very thoughtful. Our kids loved the activities and it felt very safe to let them play in the kid's pool. The food is lovely with a large choice. The service was also good and everyone was welcoming and friendly. A small minus on the rapidity of the service that was sometimes needed with our two young kids. The prices are quite high for food/ beverage and excursions. We were in half board which was suitable for us. We could either use our voucher for lunch or dinner and were eating outside the rest of the time either to night markets or to two restaurants outside the hotel. It would be nice to have still water for free during lunch and dinner as no drinks were included. Location wise, it is a bit outside and does not have many attraction around but you can easily take a taxi right outside the hotel (use the app In Drive) and go to Ao Nang which is 15 minutes away. There is a 7/11 with an ATM 5 minutes' walk from the hotel - which is very convenient. Overall, it was a lovely stay. We felt spoiled. Not to mention that we were a bit off season and we had the pool just for ourselves most of the time. And again, beautiful hotel!
