"Remotely situated place in a small vilage that really surprised us. Its a big place with interesting interior and wonderful outdoor terasse and pool However it seemed like the hotel pool was a playground for all kids in the area and as much as i appreciate that it made it close to impossible to use the pool in the daytime. Sitting on the terasse was a noisy experience, but as long as the kids very happy it was ok. Breakfast and other things destined fir your stomach were reasonably priced and...

"The traditional Cretan house we booked was nothing like the images online. Upon arrival, the place was dirty and in disrepair. Our suite, named Sophia, had hair and sweat marks on the bed and dust all over the ceiling and kitchen. The village is generally pleasant and the locals friendly.The host, Popi, was elusive, disappearing upon our arrival and only reappearing towards the end of our trip. The villa was absolutely beautiful and spotless, and the pool quickly became the kids’ best friend throughout the holiday. The old town of Rethymno was just a 20-minute drive away.
