"We have stayed at à few Hoshinoya hotels in Japan & Taiwan but this is the worst one so far. The room is dark, outdated and to get from bed to bath with many steps makes it difficult at night when the lights are so dim. Only tap water is complimented in the room . The meditation onsen is so dark inside all you see is dark wall no day light the vibe makes me feel scary not relaxing. No compliments of milk or ice cream after bath only juices cans sharing outside of the bath house for both...

"Beautiful hotel and excellent dining experience. Loved the freshly grated wasabi! There was an earthquake during our stay but had not affect the hotel operations. Will definitely come back again."

"Very Nice resort with 3 (different) private Onsen hotspring baths and 1 public. Breakfast and dinner were all ok, the rooms are spacious, but too few closets. There was a lounge with free drinks, coffee, tea and snacks and an entertainment room with darts and pool table. The entertainment room, where many guests want to spend some relaxing time after a long day skiing was however closed from 17-22 when people want to enjoy it.
