The location was great as it was a very short walk to the park, Kyoto aquarium and train museum. It was also right beside the station which is just one stop away from Kyoto station. There is also a combini within the hotel so I never needed to leave the hotel to get something from a combini.

Excellent location and very nice breakfast. Also has a nice coffee machine as well as a free pancake machine for treats throughout the day. Small room (normal for Japan) and great staff. Would love to stay again. "

"Mulan Hostel was wonderful. I came a little close to 9pm but they greeted me with such warmth and care. The dorm bed was comfortable and very nice. I loved the amenities and hot shower.
The area is perfect for seeing sights and also the bus stops right in front of the Hostel. The train was a 20min walk which is lovely in the Spring.
I would love to stay more nights in the future ."

"Housekeeping ventede udenfor hver morgen og ville spørge om værelset skulle gøres rent.. selvom der blev sat skilte op omkring dette.
Medarbejderne kunne ikke rigtigt forstå engelsk hvilket gjorde det svært med kommunikationen.
