"Staff was very friendly and helpfull. The twinroom was very spacious and bathroom was great. The kitchen was really great, everything you could ever need was there. And the opportunity to buy bread, fruit, eggs etc for your breakfast was a perfect idea. The location was very good, a 5 min walk to the center of town. We highly recommend this guest House and hostel and will be back."

"This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem."
