Duck, NC - Oceanfront and Unlimited Sunrises! Welcome to Sandy Quacks!

  • Now sleeps 6! Get ready to relax in this 1-bedroom condo in Kitty Hawk just steps to the beach! The large deck right off the living room is the perfect spot to sit back and listen to the waves crashing against the beach or wake up early and watch the magnificent sunrise without having to leave the comfort of your condo. Do you enjoy aquatic birds and sea life? Catch a glimpse of local “Big Birds” of the Outer Banks (Osprey, Great Blue Heron, Tricolored Heron, Egret and more) or watch the dolphins feed and crest in the water (we supply the binoculars if needed). This enjoyable property features a King bed, 2 full bathrooms and 2 additional sleeping spaces for extra comfort. Bedroom 2 is an open air bunk system just inside the entry way so the little ones are never too far away. Each bunk comes with its very own tv (Bluetooth headphones/earbuds capable for private listening…headphones/earbuds not provided) the kids are sure to enjoy! Need additional sleeping areas? We also have a queen sleeper sofa in the living room and all linens are provided. Our kitchen is fully equipped with all of the necessities you will need for a stress free vacation including a dishwasher, coffee maker, basic spices and much much more! With WiFi, keyless access control, flat screen TVs, AC, and a common area washer and dryer, guests can unwind in this gorgeous retreat after a day of exploring. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place.

    Save space and money, one of the few condos in the area that will provide you with basic linens (please bring your own beach towels). Need a refresh? Use our conveniently located laundry room on the ground level of the building (Coin or App compatible). Our condo also has an assortment of beach necessities such as sand toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas and more, just drop your bags and go!

    Note: Due to the proximity of the ocean, the condo is on pilings and access to the condo does require the use of stairs.

This condo is in an absolutely perfect location with amazing sounds and views of the ocean. I loved the addition of linens and a fully stocked kitchen and its close proximity to the beach and shops/restaurants in Duck.

This condo is in the perfect area of Duck, and perfectly appointed to make a memorable vacation. We loved the access to the beach and pools, and to the Duck Boardwalk with all its shops and reataurants. Couldn’t have been a better week, made even more special by the great condo here in Duck.

We greatly appreciated the kind hospitality and quick communication. Condo was perfect for us and loved the view and easy access to the shops and restaurants in Duck.

Condo was very clean and is in a perfect location. The view from the balcony is ocean front with an unobstructed view for the beautiful sunrise. Definitely will stay here again and I hope it will be sooner than later.

We had a great time at our first stay in Duck. The location of the condo was great. It was close to the pool and a short walk over the dunes to the beach. We rented bikes and were able to ride bikes to town. The view of the deck was great. It was nice to have some beach chairs and toys available at the condo.

Sandy Quacks was all that and more!! Beautiful views from the deck and close to restaurants and shopping in Duck. The condo was clean and well stocked. Robert, our host, was very helpful with my questions upon our arrival. We had a wonderful stay and would certainly rent Sandy Quacks again!

Sandy Quacks is cute, cozy and clean, and perfectly located in the quaint town of Duck! We also loved the ocean view and close proximity to the pool (which we got to enjoy since it is open until mid-Oct!). It was the perfect spot for me and my three year-old's first family vacation and we would definitely return.

Perfect little place to stay in Duck NC. Unit was super clean, well maintained and had everything you needed, great oceanfront view from the balcony, just steps from the beach and about half a mile from everything in town. Excellent communication with owners and excellent pricing.

Incredible stay! The condo was super cute and cozy. The balcony with the swing was our favorite place to sit and listen to the waves. Only concern was the app did not show a clear address which made it a bit confusing to find the correct unit. Incredibly responsive and kind host! We will be back!

Clean and quick to respond to questions when we had them at check in when there were lock issues. We loved seeing dolphins eagles whales and horses. Loved the ocean view. We also saw several military air craft. Which as a marine corps veteran I enjoyed. Thank you!
