This place was clean and probably the most organized kitchen I've seen for a beach rental. This place is very kid friendly with more than enough beach toys, plus toys for the house. The host was very responsive and on top of things. The master bedroom wasn’t the most private, but we made it work. The view and walk to the beach was also great.

Cute, obviously old, cottage that has been very well remodeled. A little smaller than expected but cozy and comfortably fit the amount of people as advertised! Very nice location right by the beach. The hot tub and supply shed with beach accessories were nice amenities. The hosts were very informative, generous and quick to respond to messages/questions. The complementary cookie tray was a delicious bonus. Would return in the future!

The Current View Cottage was excellent and our family had a great stay at this property! The house was exactly as it was shown and the owners were very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. The location was absolutely perfect with a simple walk to the beach and an awesome view. The cottage is well stocked with everything you could possible need during your stay. The storage shed has all the beach related items you need and bikes to get around the area. We would definitely return to this location and highly recommend.

loved the location. It was an easy drive north to Corolla one day and south to Hatteras another day. This house is in a fairly busy part of the outer banks. Although beach itself was not busy at all! Loved our stay and exploring this coast. Hosts were great, house was great! Our week was fairly chilly so we loved having the hot tub!?

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our time in this home. The fully stocked kitchen made everything so easy, and we appreciated having access to the bikes and beach chairs. The hot tub was a great bonus after long days out. The layout of the house was perfect for privacy, and we loved the charm and character of the unique older home. The sand kitchen was a big hit and got lots of use during our stay. Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay, and we would happily return!

The cottage was everything we hoped for and more for our family vacation. It was very clean, the kitchen was more than adequately stocked. The cottage is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. There was adequate seating for our group of nine. The hot tub was clean and no problems. The host was very responsive to any questions and/or communications we had and her instructions were clear and specific throughout our booking, check-in and check-out. The cottage was centrally located for our activities. Beach access is very easy from the cottage. I would definitely return to this property. May, 2026

Amazing home in amazing location. Full of ocean views and less than a 1 minute walk to relaxing on the beach. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub on the huge front deck. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our time with our two families of four. They had all the beach equipment you would ever need... and toys, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, skim boards, and a wagon to haul it all right across the street. Communication with David and Kerry was quick and easy! Can't wait to visit again.

We’ve stayed at this beach house several times now (I think this was our third or fourth visit), and it continues to be one of our favorite places to stay. Every time we come back, it feels just as special. The owners are always incredibly responsive, kind, and easy to work with, which makes the entire experience smooth from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and the property. The view is absolutely amazing—one of the best parts of staying here. It never gets old, no matter how many times we visit. This trip, we also noticed some updates to the decor and furniture, including larger beds, which were such a nice bonus and made the stay even more comfortable. We truly love this place and will absolutely be back again!
