"Service: De unge ansatte var meget venlige, smilende og imødekommende; de ældre var mere afmålte - man følte sig ikke velkommen hos dem. Tilstand: Jeg hader koldt vand - og der var kun koldt vand i bruseren; sengene var udmærkede; der var en del larm fra en eller anden ventilator lige ved vores vindue (dag og nat). Beliggenheden er fantastisk!"

The owners were super helpful in terms of their communication ahead of our booking, as well as in answering all of our questions in the build up. The cooked breakfast in the morning was amazing and we really appreciated their friendliness and their suggestions for things to do in the nearby area. The entire house was very well kept and we would highly recommend staying here - thank you!"

"The Mayflower is a lovely pub The staff where very friendly & helpful. Few issues, the plug was missing for the sink in the en-suite. The plug hole itself wasn't clean, needs a serious clean There's no shelf in the shower to put anything on. For the tea /coffee facilities there was no spoon. The single standing lamp, the blub was missing. But other than that, nice spacious room, comfy bed. "

"A total hidden gem"

"I had a good stay at the Castle Hotel. Lovely little hotel, super comfy bed and gorgeous bed linen. The room was spotless and generous tea and coffee making facilities. Nice bathroom products. No A/C as it's a beautiful old building, but that was fine as was able to open windows and control the radiator. I didn't have a cooked breakfast but buffet options were fine and the other guests seemed to be enjoying their cooked food. I will stay again, thank you."

"We only used the room as a base overnight whilst visiting Lincolnshire showground but the hosts made us feel welcome and showed us around the room on check in. The kitchenette was a nice addition, especially the fridge so we could keep our drinks for the weekend cool overnight. We’ll be looking to book again for next year!"
