"Rooms are very nice. Like a studio apartment setup. Cozy and spacious. Beach is a very short walk away. Have plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby. Definitely going again in the future. "

"Right on the sound side, with two piers, one for fishing and one to use to launch a kayak or two. We stayed a wonderful week between two hurricanes (Gorden and Helene). The house fit us well as we had three mobility impaired folks. With the wooden ramp to the first floor plus two roll-in showers on the first floor along with two bedrooms it was ideal. Only two minor issues, one of the 5 toilets was out of order and required a part and many of the dishes, pots and pans were not well cleaned...

"We stayed for a week mid-May, family of 5. Property was as described and pictured. Classic beach/lake house vibe. Plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances. New towels. Great pool with plenty of loungers. There is a very short walk over thru the dunes to the beach, right behind the house, the beach is very quiet and clean, lots of wildlife, crabs, birds....We visited some other beaches further north and this one was much cleaner and much less crowded. Maybe one group of people every 300-400...

"This was our first time staying in Avon. This was a cozy room in a great location. The Avon Pier was right across the street. Coffee in the cafe was delicious and convenient. Dawn was accommodating and had great recommendations for area restaurants. We also enjoyed a clay class and made our own coffee mugs. What a great experience. "
