Stilfuldt, moderne strand sommerhus meget tæt på stranden med fantastiske kyststien gåture. Beliggende på en populær surfingstrand med Bigbury on Sea og Burgh Island kun 10 minutters gang væk, I sæson havfront bar og fisk og chip beach shack. Kun 15 minutter gå til Journey's End Pub eller 10 minutter (tidevande tillader) til The Pilchard Inn på Burgh Island.
Loftet har to soveværelser, en king size dobbeltseng med tv, garderobe og eget badeværelse med walk in shower. One Twin / King Size Dobbelt med garderobe, TV / DVD. Der er også en dobbelt sovesofa i den store stueetage lounge. Familie badeværelse med stor bruser. Stort køkken og spiseplads med køleskab, fryser, opvaskemaskine, vaskemaskine, mikroovn, gaskomfur og ovn. Første sal stor stue, TV / DVD, åbning på en glas fronted lukket balkon, med bord og stole. Loftet har fordele fra centralvarme og privat Wi-Fi. Privat off road gated parkering, udendørs bruser for at vaske af ved retur fra stranden, kan vi tilbyde sikker garage opbevaring til brædder, cykler mv på anmodning.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The house was well equipped and very clean. Communication with host was great. A lovely gesture by the host leaving a bottle of prosecco and box of fudge. Very close to the beachfront, which was great as parents are almost 90 years old. Didn't realise the caravan park was directly in front which was our main view, small view of the sea could be seen from balcony. Lovely coastal walks without taking the car.One downside of the area was the road in and out , it was so narrow with poor passing places, there should be a one way system would make it so much better.We all had a wonderful time .

Thanks, we had a lovely few days away, peace and quiet, bar lo call and great Fish & Chips from the Fryer Tuck just down the road. Good walks from location with great views.All in all a good few days away.

Lovely property in close proximity to the beach at Challaborough Bay and a short walk to Bigbury. The property was as described and overlooks the Challaborough Bay holiday park. It's great for surfing and visiting Bigbury/Burgh Island. Salcombe is a short drive and there are many National Trust places to visit. Note that the drive down to the property is a typical road to the coast (e.g. steep and narrow).

We stayed at The Loft for the last week of the school holidays. The communication prior with the owners was very good and the check in process and directions were good. The house has 2 ground floor bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, as well as a very well appointed kitchen diner, including walking up liquid , dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent. Everything was beautiful with lots of attention to detail. Upstairs is a lovely lounge and balcony, there is a TV and a cupboard full of board games and another full of DVDs. It was our first time visiting Devon and the only drawback is the access roads to the beaches, including Challaborough. They are often single track with passing places. This made for some stressful driving experiences! Fortunately you have access to Challaborough beach at the end of the road or a 10-15 minute walk along the coastal path to Bigbury and Burgh Island beaches, which became our preferred one, as we ditched the car after a few days. Overall we cannot fault the house and the owners were very kind, and if you’re a confident driver then the location shouldn’t trouble you either.

Just returned from 5 nights at The Loft. Brilliant location, fabulous accommodation. Less than 5 mins from the beach. Property exactly as described. Extremely clean and tidy. Owners really friendly and nice touch with the discount at the beach shop just round the bay. Lovely upstairs sitting area. Great fish and chips just off the beach. Would love to visit again.

We have just returned from the most amazing week. The location of the house to the beach made the holiday, it is literally minutes. We spent the week on the beach as had beautiful weather. We took the SUP to the beach daily, the weather meant we had calm waters. Russel and Amanda were fantastic hosts.

Overall, we were very happy with our accommodation. It’s a lovely spot and so close to the beach. The cottage is well equipped and has a relaxing feel. Great hosts who made us feel welcome. Thanks, we’ll be back.

The Loft is beautifully decorated, with everything you'll need for your stay. My teenage daughter was very happy with the high end mirror in the bathroom. It was clean and tidy. There are plenty of games and books to read. Fully equipped kitchen, not what everyone needs for a break away but I was able to wash my youngest daughters t-shirt (favourite t-shirt) so she could wear it everyday. The balcony was protected from the elements and was a comfy place to sit and relax. Lots of lovely walks and places to eat. Thank you

Absolutely amazing stay, Russell and as great with his communication and help….even on the morning we left he text to say would need to come in via a different road as the wind had cause havoc to the caravan park next door. The loft is absolutely perfect, right by the beach and beautiful walks.The kids loved it and so did we. Can’t wait to come back again

Really enjoyed our stay. A beautifully managed home - cosy space to relax in the evening, well provisioned kitchen and good size bedrooms - and hosts very welcoming (scones on arrival!). Location fantastic for both Challaborough and Bigbury beaches. Kids loved it.

Great place to stay very close to the beach so easy to pop in and out if weather isn’t great. We had mixed weather so ment we could just go to beach when the sun came out. Nice property with all the things you require for a great stay. If you do go you must go eat at the journeys end inn it’s a great pub with very good food.

Clean & well equipped just a few minutes walk to a sheltered beach. A few weeks before our stay we were contacted by the new owners. They were helpful & responded quickly to our questions.
