"There were one or two drawbacks, my room was on the second floor with no lift available, however, my luggage was carried up the stairs for me by the receptionist. There was a problem on the first night with air conditioning, but this was remedied the next day. Overall I would not hesitate to return to the hotel next time I am in St Albans. "

"The property is small and cozy as described, facilities are tidy and clean. We couldn’t receive the check-in instructions until we call at check-in time, the problem is solved quickly. "I am sorry to say that our stay was unexpectedly very bad. Even as we checked in the property was cold. There was NO HEATING and no HOT WATER. After many tephone calls we were told that the we boiler was not functioing. We were given grossly inadequate heaters which did little to correct the situation.
