After a day on the slopes or exploring the trails, come back to your peaceful cabin retreat. Curl up by the corner gas fireplace with a mug of hot cocoa, play board games with the kids, or step out onto the spacious deck to watch the sunset glow over the pines.

Agatam Lodge offers a spacious & comfortable layout with plenty of room for families and small groups to enjoy. The home features three traditional bedrooms along with one smaller combined bunk / laundry room (perfect for a few kids to sleep).

The main level (upstairs) features an open-concept living area, gas fireplace, 50 inch SmartTV, dining space, kitchen and spacious front deck. Gather around the fire, share a meal, or enjoy a movie night after a fun-filled Tahoe day. An additional half bathroom upstairs adds extra comfort and convenience. Step outside to soak in the mountain air, relax on the sunny deck, or fire up the gas grill for a cozy family dinner.

Agatam Lodge has been recently renovated, featuring 4 Bedrooms, 2.5 Bathrooms, a beautiful new kitchen with rustic alder cabinets, white quartz countertops, a stacked stone fireplace, luxury vinyl plank flooring, and ceramic tile. Don’t miss the cozy deep blue dining bench, the perfect spot for morning coffee or a family breakfast before heading out for the day. The updated kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, Keurig, and a well-stocked selection of cookware and utensils — guests always compliment how easy it is to cook here!

Parking is easy with off-street space for up to four vehicles. There’s a small garage that can fit one car or can be used to store bikes, kayaks, and ski gear. The driveway accommodates up to three cars, making it easy for families to come and go. In summer, the garage is often stocked with beach and outdoor equipment, so plan to park in the driveway during those warmer months. And if you’re a boater, the driveway is long enough to accommodate most trailers (up to around 25 feet).

- Bedroom 3 (downstairs): Two Extra Long Twin Beds
- Bedroom 4 (downstairs): SMALL, TINY!! Bunk Room with a set of Twin Bunk Beds.
- Common Area (living room): Queen Sofa Bed , 2 Pak-N-Plays

On the entry level, you’ll find a queen bedroom, a second bedroom with two extra long twin beds, and a cozy bunk/laundry room that’s perfect for small kids. This floor also includes a full bathroom for convenience. Upstairs, the primary suite offers a comfortable California King Bed and en-suite bathroom.

- Easy boating access! The Tahoe Vista Boat Launch is adjacent to the beach and just a few blocks from the house. The driveway is generally long enough to fit most boat trailer (up to around 25 feet in length).
- Walk to Old Range Steakhouse (1 block from the house).
- North Lake Tahoe Regional Park is up the street with great views of the lake and has softball, soccer, basketball, tennis, pickleball, hiking trails, zip-lining, challenge courses, as well as, sledding, tobogganing and snowmobiling.

Outdoor fun awaits just two blocks up the street at North Tahoe Regional Park, where you can enjoy hiking, biking, sledding, cross-country skiing, and the exciting Tahoe Treetop Adventure Park with ziplining courses. You can also try rafting the Truckee River or horseback riding at Alpine Meadows for a full day of family adventure.

Agatam Lodge is just a short drive to the main shopping and dining area of King’s Beach, and with Safeway less than a mile away, grocery runs are quick and easy. When it’s time for mountain adventures, you’re perfectly situated — Northstar and Palisades Tahoe ski resorts are only 15 to 25 minutes away, offering world-class skiing and snowboarding for all levels.

Booking guest must be 25 years of age or older.

Maximum 8 adult guests per county ordinance. Additional children maybe permitted upon host approval up to a maximum 10 occupancy.

Community quiet hours from 9pm - 8am daily.

No events or parties. This is not a party house and is best suitable for those looking to enjoy a peaceful time in the mountains.

No smoking of vaping.

No commercial photography and / or filming allowed.

There is parking for 1 vehicle in the attached garage and 2 - 3 vehicles on the driveway (depending on the size of your vehicles). Note that there is no street parking allowed at any Short Term Rental Property (per county ordinance).

No outdoor fires or charcoal bbq’s allowed per county ordinance. On red flag days, no open flame allowed (i.e. no use of propane grill).

Trash must be properly disposed of within metal bear bin alongside driveway. Do not leave any food or beverages in your vehicle as bears will not hesitate to help themselves to your goodies and can cause significant vehicle damage.

Home must be properly secured (doors locked, windows closed / locked) whenever not present in the home. Failure to properly secure the home can put the home at risk and result in considerable damage if a bear enters the property.

The driveway is on a seasonal plow service, whereas they come once per day when it snows more than 6 inches. They generally follow the road plows and will first clear the berms at the end of the driveway. You’ll need to move your cars so that the plows can access and clear the driveway (which takes less than 5 minutes once cars are out of the way).

We do our best to ensure reasonable access to the property, but depending on the timing of your arrival (if during or immediately following a storm), there maybe some shoveling needed. There are shovels located onsite that can be used by guests, but we also recommend traveling with a shovel in case needed while in route.

WINTER ADVISORY: By reserving this house during the winter months (November - April), you acknowledge that you will be traveling into the mountains and that winter storms are common and often unpredictable. The dates that you are choosing to reserve are being held for your group and are therefore unavailable for other groups to reserve. In all cases, our cancellation policy will prevail. There will be no consideration afforded for difficult travel due to winter weather condition. We strongly advise that you pay attention to incoming storms and / or changes in weather patterns in order to help avoid travel delays or disruptions. It is also strongly advised that you travel with a 4WD or AWD vehicle, carry snow chains , and have a shovel that can be used if needed to dig out a stuck vehicle.

ALL SEASONS ADVISORY: By reserving this house, you acknowledge that you will be traveling to the mountains and that Lake Tahoe (while beautiful) is in a natural forest setting. As such, it is possible that you may encounter spiders, ants, field mice, etc. at properties throughout the area. We take every proactive measure to prevent pests from finding their way inside the property (i.e. regular cleanings, seasonal deep cleanings, routine pest control - i.e. spray perimeter and crawl space areas, set traps, seal up holes of entry, etc.). Despite those efforts, there’s always a rare possibility that pests can find their way inside the home (as it only takes a very small entry point for that to occur). This is simply a reality of living in the mountains. By accepting our house rules, you acknowledge this Advisory and agree that there will be no refunds or adjustments to pricing should you encounter a pest(s) within the home.
