The Neighborhood:

Sugar Beach Resort sits on North Kihei's long, open shoreline, where a simple beach walk can turn into the main event. Sugar Beach is known for its wide white sand and room to spread out, whether the kids want to look for shells or the adults want a quiet swim. Kihei also keeps the rest of South Maui within reach for a change of scenery. Come back to the beachfront resort for a pool dip, a soak in the hot tub, or dinner from the shared grills after a day outside.



Getting Around:

Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.
