    Welcome to Maui Sunset B309, a comfortable one-bedroom, two-bathroom condo in North Kihei, perfect for couples, small families, or friends seeking a relaxing Maui escape. Overlooking the resort's lush tropical grounds with partial (peekaboo) ocean views from the private lanai, this condo offers a peaceful setting just steps from the shoreline.

    The open living area is designed for comfort after a day of exploring Maui, featuring comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, ceiling fan, and window air conditioning. Step onto your private lanai to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind in the evening while taking in the tropical landscaping and partial ocean views.

    The fully equipped kitchen includes cookware, dishes, utensils, and everything needed to prepare meals at home. The dining table seats four, with additional outdoor dining available on the lanai.

    The spacious primary bedroom features a queen bed, quality linens, ceiling fan, window AC, and an ensuite bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower. A second full bathroom with a shower is conveniently located off the main living area. An in-unit washer and dryer make longer stays easy and allow you to pack light.

    Beach Access

    Maui Sunset sits directly on the oceanfront with easy walking access to Waipuilani Beach, just across the lawn. While this beach is ideal for morning walks, sunsets, and paddleboarding when conditions allow, many guests choose to swim at nearby Kalepolepo Beach Park (about a 5-10 minute walk) or drive approximately 10 minutes to the popular Kamaole Beach Parks.

    Walkability

    Maui Sunset is located in a quieter area of North Kihei. Guests can enjoy walking along the oceanfront path and to nearby parks, but most restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, and additional beaches are a short 5-10 minute drive away. A rental car is recommended to make the most of your stay.

It’s a beautiful, family oriented complex. We enjoyed the sunsets every night with all the other guests that joined us on the beach. It’s a perfect location for exploring the entire island.

Family vacation

The property is very well maintained, the building and decor are a bit dated but very well kept. We will absolutely book here again. It is in a great location with easy access to everything we wanted to do.

Maui Sunset is a great overall location! Great condos, beach and amenities! It is very laid back and quiet! Very easy to get to from everywhere on the island! Perfect place for a laid back Maui vacation!

Maui Sunset

I have stayed here many times over 30 years. It's a great location for getting to Wailea, Lahaina, Kaanapali, Paia, Upcountry. The property is well managed and the management is responsive.

Honeymoon in Kihei

Honeymoon bliss....Beautiful property, perfect for our needs. Everything was as described. bonus was the local sea turtles would beach themselves on the beach at night. what a magical site. We love Mauii, and have found a new favorite location for our next visit.

Good,place.to stay

The condo is clean, well equipped with every thing, you need for your stay. Only I would do to improve the stay would be to get a new bed , it needs to be replaced. Also the TV needs to show the local channels ,TV very confusing how to use. The condo is very nice I would stay there again.

Lovely Place

The stay was wonderful, and the location fantastic. A few errors on communication ( no late checkout as advertised ) and stated that we would have coffee for the first morning - there was none. As a note it would be nice to have plastic wrap and aluminum foil for use. Came with nice beach chairs, and a large balcony with 4 chairs and a table. The grounds were taken very good care of, the pool and the BBQs were great. Just steps from the beach and plenty of beautiful daily sunsets.

Overall good

Overall good place to stay, however multiple times they ran out of propane outside (changes your dinner plans last minute) and the washing machine was absolutely disgusting. In order to use the dryer we had to clean it out. The grounds are beautiful, parking is easy, checking in/out was a piece of cake, and it’s nice and quiet during quiet hours.

Nice apartment with a well-stocked kitchen. Lots of great amenities like pool, grills, washer/dryer. Tennis and pickleball are courts very close by. The good beaches are a ways away, however. I do wish the sidewalks on S. Kihei road extended north to the property; walking to/from restaurants and bars is a bit harrowing with all the traffic. Do be sure to read the fine print in the property details. The headline of the listing mentioned free late checkout and a free 6th night, but that was apparently only during certain times of the year. Overall a nice place to stay.

Cute Little Condo

Easy check in, great communication via email, accurate description. AC should be allowed to go lower than 72 as our who children suffer from seasonal allergies really had issues with stuffy noses during the night (We live on Oahu, so we understand the cost of electricity, however, health and wellbeing come first, especially when it comes to our children). Master shower had zero water pressure; had to use other bathroom shower which worked great, but there was no place to store our brought toiletries while showering. A bit pricey, but overall a good experience.

Very quiet area. Pool was busy but nice. Stores and dining very close. Really nice beach just down the road we went to everyday. Late check in was a bit odd. No real direction on where the unit was. Used the late check in phone and an old security guard came out. Was mad we were bothering him but was helpful in the end. Was scared before the trip because we were not sent info about the unit and codes. No numbers for contact and when you email nobody responds. But great unit and we would probably return.

Walk to several good restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The beach in front of the complex is sub-par but unit is a short drive to many beautiful, swimmable beaches in Wailea. The sea turtles come in at dusk which is a treat. Just walk down the beach to the south to see them but stay at least 10' feet away as they are protected!

Everything was great, the only issue we had was not with the condo, it was with some of the guest.

Condo was great, property is beautiful. It's a non smoking resort, yet we couldn't enjoy our mornings on the lanai as some guest were smoking each morning. Other than that small issue it was a great experience and we'd definitely go back, hopefully next time there will be no smoking.
