A fully stocked kitchen for home-cooked meals and a private lanai for outdoor dining welcome you to one of Wailea's favorite properties. Easy access on the first floor and convenient guest parking near the front of the condominium make this a property you will enjoy as your home-away-from-home.
Wailea Grand Champions Golf Villas is in the heart of the Wailea Resort Community in sunny South Maui, nestled between the championship Ol’ Blue Golf Course and the award winning Wailea Tennis Center. Lush tropical gardens and swaying palm trees surround all 188 units, two swimming pools, two Jacuzzis and four gas BBQ grills to enjoy. Shopping, dining, activities, and amenities are conveniently located within walking distance. Beautiful Wailea beaches are just a short drive away or a 15–20-minute walk from the Villas. Wailea Grand Champions Golf Villas offers great values and views in the heart of the upscale Wailea Resort community.

This luxury-on-a-budget property is in the center of Wailea’s Ol’ Blue Golf Course, with contemporary villas featuring private lanais for sunset views over the fairways to the West Maui mountains. Wailea area resorts, spa facilities, and award-winning restaurants are within walking distance, and Wailea’s fabulous beaches are a leisurely 15-minute walk or easy 3-minute drive from the Wailea Grand Champions Villas. Wailea Gateway Center, Wailea Town Center, The Shops at Wailea, and the newest shopping/entertainment destination Wailea Village Center are all a few minutes’ walk from your vacation home at Wailea Grand Champions.

Beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, and a cooler are provided. Additional beach gear may be rented at one of our local beach shops.

Great condo

Great condo for our family with 3 kiddos. The pool & jacuzzi were nice, the area was safe and in close driving or walking distance to excellent beaches, snorkeling, shopping and tennis courts (right next door to the tennis club & Wailea golf course). The condo was clean and spacious and had towels & chairs for the beach and a cooler to tote snacks in. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and was well laid out. Great safe & reasonably quiet location. Would stay in Wailea again for sure.

Good home, neighborhood not far from the beach

Good place, the neighborhood is very good and quiet. There are two pools, we've used it only 3 times for 10 days vacation but anyway it's good there is a pool and grills area there. The house was clean, everything needed was there good kitchen with all needed appliances. Also there are extra things in the house like swimming jackets for kids, beach chairs. You have to walk to the beach near 20 minutes but its good sport during vacation Overall: Very good place, we would like to stay there for the next time

The rental property had clear instructions, were available for questions during a storm and was very clean. They also made sure you had the basic need like coffee, tide pods for cleaning your clothes, soaps and shampoos, towels. Very thoughtful. Even have beach chairs! A little far for walking but with a car it’s good, (buses only come once an hour on Maui) Having ac in all rooms is a plus. The best thing is the deck, taking coffee out there and listening to the birds was fun and watching geckos run by. Loved our stay.

Good location

Property wasn't very clean. Lots of bugs everywhere including bedrooms. Perhaps because of recent rain and ground floor? Also lots of noise from neighbor above. Shower in master had mold and whole unit needs a thorough cleaning.

Maui Vacay Stay at Grand Champions 129

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were pleased with the easy process from the initial reservation through check-in/check-out. The condo and location of the condo were nice. However, the furniture and appliances (washer/dryer, TVs, specifically) were quite old/dated. The condo was pretty clean .. however, when we used a few of the dishes, we saw that they were not cleaned/washed and we had to make sure to pre-wash any dishes prior to use. We also had a run-in with a few roaches during our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Grand Champions and would consider staying there again ... just not sure if we would specifically stay in 129 again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was OK: well stocked kitchen, nice bedrooms, comfortable beds, master bath had huge shower area with double faucet. The downside was the living/dining room area. the furniture and decor, including a very banged-up coffee table, clock, dining table chandelier and the TOTALLY useless fan in the living room area all look like they were purchased from a 1950's (or earlier!)used furniture store! Any other unit we have rented at Champions in the past was very nicely furnished and decorated with a Hawaiian theme. A/C in living room was so noisy you couldn't hear the TV unless you turned it way up! An umbrella for the lanai table would be a nice addition since we ate all our meals outside. A subscription to one premium movie channel would have been nice and wouldn't break the bank. The location is good, just up the hill from the Shops at Wailea and a very short ride to our favorite beaches, Ulua and Mokopu.

Private and Quiet Stay on Maui

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property description was accurate in regard to location, layout and amenities. We did not use the pools, but they were available to us and close tot the unit. The property had new flooring, fresh paint and all the kitchen necessities you might need. Washer and dryer were very handy to have use of. We really enjoyed the lanai with the view of tropical trees and vegetation, birdsongs, and even a view of the mountain to the north. The unit was very quiet and private and we slept very well each night. The management provided good communication via email. We did not need to contact them for anything although they gave us their contact info. I would recommend this property to friends. We really enjoyed a dinner at the nearby Monkeypod Kitchen. There are restaurants at the nearby outdoor mall that could also be walked to in about 15 minutes. Mostly, we drove down to Kihei for meals and did not use the kitchen to cook. We also recommend a place in Kihei called the Cinnamon Roll Place.

Dirty with Roaches. Unhealthy Unit.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I can't recommend this unit. We stayed less than 24 hours due to roaches and notified CBIV within 12 hours of arrival. Roaches were pouring out of the outlets in the kitchen. Roach feces on the counter. Management told us the unit was recently sprayed and that is why they were coming out like this. I feel they should have told us prior to arrival and refunded all our money. They offered to move us but then they had no available units. Ended up in a $$$ hotel for the remaining days of vacation. I come to Hawaii for a week every six months. I have used CBIV for many trips and they are usually great to work with. Never ever had an issue they didn't help with before. I have also stayed in other units at Grand Champions at least 4x prior. This was untenable. I do believe I should have been told prior about the roaches and offered a full refund.

From the moment we arrived the condo was very clean and welcoming .The amenities were a definite plus giving us the opportunity to relax and enjoy.The beaches , shops & restaurants only minutes away .After a long day of exploring the island it was nice to have the option to BBQ and relax by the pool .We also enjoyed the peacefulness of waking up and having breakfast on the lanai .We are looking forward to staying here again .

Best of the Best on Maui

We have family in Kihei so we have stayed at many hotels and condos over the years. We have stayed at the Grand Wailea a few times, and overall this was our favorite property of any kind! Here are the highlights: Very nice welcome. Easy to get settled in. We received a call from the property manager just after we arrived to make sure everything was perfect and it was. A/C was on and it was nice and cool throughout our stay. There was a nice, big balcony with various birds and flowers. There are 2 spacious bedrooms with great beds! They were super comfy. There is a big shower with strong water pressure and a bathtub. Everything was very clean. That’s always nice. Parking was close by and easy. We could walk to many shops or restaurants or the beach! Cons: the people above us had a child who started literally running throughout the condo above us at 5:00 am!!! I talked to them, but it didn’t get better. So every morning, thumping from about 5 am. Would I return??? Absolutely...with good ear plugs.

Perfect Home Base for Family Adventures on Maui

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is the best! Our family has been to Maui a number of times, we strongly prefer Wailea to Lahaina. The weather is always nicer, it's much less crowded, and the sunsets are perfect. The biggest problem with Wailea is that all of the luxury resorts are SOOOO expensive, not so with this perfect condo complex tucked in the middle of them all.The kitchen is very well stocked, I am a professional chef and there was everything needed to cook countless gourmet meals for my family. The bedrooms are very comfortable, the bedding is clean and soft and new, there are plenty of outlets for devices, and there is plenty of drawer and closet space. There is a super convenient and out of the way washer/dryer on the patio that works great and comes with detergent and dryer sheets. The master shower is so big that it should be the profile pic for this property.Probably the best thing about this spot is how comfortable my family was, weather it was sleeping in, crashing in after a day of adventures, or gathering around the table for a meal. It was fully equipped with everything we could've asked for.10/10 would definitely recommend and come again!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A super comfortable condo close to lots of great beaches, restaurants and shops. Checking in was painless. The condo was well furnished with comfortable beds and an amazing shower in the master. We cooked many of our own meals in the well equipped kitchen.The two pools (with hot tubs) were close by, clean and a great place for afternoon poolside "happy hour".We look forward to returning soon!Check out the sunset at Keawakapu Beach. Lunch at Miso Phat Sushi was amazing. As was our fine dinner at Matteo's Osteria, which is very close to the condo.Thanks to Jon and Jennifer and the folks at CBIP Vacations!
