"This beautiful boutique hotel offers traditional Newari charm in the heart of Lalipur, just a short walk to Patan Darbar Square. The reception staff were friendly and super helpful and the room just full of character. Loved it. Breakfast is served offsite with a limited selection but does the job. "I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It's a small guest house with about 9-10 rooms. It's all been refurbished to look like it might have 300 years ago. It's so beautiful and quaint. "Shakya House is in walking distance......10 minutes at most from Durbar Square. The walk itself is very interesting as it is the very old area of Patan and every moment there are amazing sights to see. It is also only 10/15 minute from a large supermarket that has everything you my need. It is well worth the stay as the owner and the staff are very welcoming and will do anything to help. As the sign says... come as a guest and leave as a friend."
