"Booked 3 nights and upgraded to premium Grand before arrival. Upon arrival the checkin staff told me that i was further upgraded, but it turned out that the room did not have any daylight or any view, so NOT an upgrade at all. After i complained, the management was offering me to refund me the amount i had paid for the upgrade. But i would have preferred to get a nice room woth a view instead. 1/2 of the gym equipment was broken and could not be used. Did not seem to be repaired anytime soon. Location is quite remote and if you need to go to Aonang area, be prepared to spend 30-40mins each way. Grab will cost you Baht 400 each way. The hotel does not offer any shuttle service to any location. Overall we were not impressed and probably would find another hotel closer to Aonang next time"

"This hotel was amazing. We had a family room and it was really great. The hotel is well located close to restaurants and the night market. The staff was super sweet and caring towards our kids. The best recommendations from a family travelling with a 2,5 year old and an 8 month old baby. We will definitely come back☺️"

"Et helt standard 4 stjernes turisthotel. Værelserne er helt standard, som man kan forvente. Inventaret var i fin og funktionel stand, men efterhånden temmelig brugt. Eneste minus var, at aircondition lugtede og trængte til at blive renset. Receptionen sendte en teknikker, der fiksede lugten nødtørftigt, men to dage senere var lugten tilbage. Viljen til at løse problemet var absolut til stede, men da det sandsynligvis kræver en del mere arbejde, så måtte vi leve med lugtgenen. Morgenmadsbuffet havde et rimelig fint udvalg, og personalet var gode til at fylde op. Selve morgenmadsrestauranten mindede meget om en kantine på en dansk arbejdsplads....ikke spor hyggelig. Heldigvis kunne man sidde udendørs. Hotellets beliggenhed var god, og udsigten til klipperne var flot. Personalet var super venlige og imødekommende."

"I rarely write reviews and consider myself a picky hotel guest, but Varana truly deserves top marks! The service exceeded all expectations, and the hotel itself is an experience. Varana is a new, stylish, and luxurious hotel. We stayed in a Horizon Ocean King room with a panoramic ocean view. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. A special thanks to: 1. Albert at the reception – exceptional service! He helped us book excursions, always asked about our day with genuine interest, and provided great recommendations. Also, thanks for the best check-in and check-out experience I’ve ever had! 2. Pond at Restaurant Sala – always kind and service-minded. 3. Dew at the Sip pool bar– made delicious drinks and was great company for a friendly chat. Varana has a strong focus on organic and sustainable food, which is evident in their restaurant. We really enjoyed the high-quality breakfast each morning. Varana has an exclusive Beach Club, but we especially enjoyed the beach at its sister hotel, The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort. We had multiple dinners at their Thai restaurant due to the fantastic food, stunning views, and amazing atmosphere. A special thanks to: 1. Hana for her humor, great food recommendations, and charming personality. 2. Thea for her warm smile and fantastic service. Varana exceeded all our expectations, and we will definitely be back.
