Dear Guest,We are disappointed that we did not meet your expectations for your visit with us.The Guesthouse is a historic structure, and as such does not feature an elevator; it is however just a handful of stairs to the second floor. The front desk is always ready to assist with luggage.We strive to provide lodging that is inviting, safe, clean and comfortable.Our breakfast is an expanded continental breakfast. We provide breads, yoghurt, fresh fruit, and in season scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and the like.Guests often comment on how quiet and relaxing their stay was; the Guesthouse is located in a tranquil residential area, with restaurants and bakeries only a block away.Thank you for choosing us for your lodging needs, and thank you for your feedback.

Fantastisk service. Gode forhold og placeret lige midt i skønt kvarter. Stille og roligt. Yderst hjælpsomt personale. Værelse i lyse farver gode forhold ved pool og fælles morgenmad med de andre gæster.

Disappointing
I expected a lot more from this place, compared to the price. The staff was a not helpful. The room, though newly painted, was uncomfortable. So was the bathroom. The bed was not very good. Only one duvet for two grown ups. And worst of all, the breakfast. The worst I ever had at a hotel. Terrible. This was the first and the last time at this hotel.

We are also very happy to provide a breakfast with hot items in season and a wide variety of options to choose from, including scrambled eggs, sausage (in season), fresh fruit, a variety of pastries, muffins, bagels, yoghurt etc. in a clean and comfortable setting. I thought we would be at the Simonton Street location. I was unaware there was a Frances Street location. That should have been made clear to us, because we were separated from our friends and had a much longer walk to Duval Street. Also the Frances Street location had NO WATER to offer when it was a very hot and humid day! Finally, there was some breakfast food items left in the outdoor area for a while before it was cleaned up.

The main door was falling apart that we go in and out of into the room. The complimentary breakfast should not be categorized as breakfast. The plumbing had problems. And getting a clean pool towel was impossible. The gentleman that checked us in was friendly. But when checking out. The attendant didn’t care to ask how our stay was and said “put the key on the table”. If you are looking for a small room. With a hard bed. To sleep at. So you can enjoy key west. This will work. But other than that. I won’t be staying here again.

This property was beautiful. The location is great to be close to everything in key west and be able to walk. The owner was amazing, a very friendly person who can assist you with doing anything you want to do in key west, such as catamarans, Jetskiing or any other activity you could think of. Rooms were clean and the property was peaceful and clean as well. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Key West

For 400 dollars a night , it was not great. There is no extras. I am sure it was clean but looked old and dirty. I could not have coffee until 8 cuz nothings open. It is way too far from Duval with no bike rentals. I thought I booked the Heron house, which is pretty nice. But I did not. I would not stay here again.

Street parking only was not too convenient. Ceiling fans in the room did not work. Outlets by the bed were tied into the lights, so when you turned the lights off the plugs didn’t work. Had to sleep with the lights on so I could use my c-pap.

I had a wonderful time! Roman was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and kind. The hotel is located in a great spot - it’s quiet but close enough to walk to anything you want to do. I was traveling alone and felt safe the whole time!

The staff and service were outstanding. Ramon was so helpful in providing us tips for parking, dining suggestions, and checking in our luggage the day after our stay, etc. He really went above and beyond We are so appreciative of his hospitality and for really making us feel welcome and at home. The Heron House itself is very comfy with a nice breakfast as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Property condition in need of refresh. Cracked floor tiles, lower quality linens, in room amenities. Breakfast offered consisted of budget bagels and breads, cereal boxes, boiled eggs, slices of cheese and yogurt. Pool is fine but no real landscaping or shade for loungers. Front desk help was friendly and helpful. It’s budget lodging, so my review is aligned with the expectation that the bathroom and rooms would be clean and the property maintained property. It fell short in this regard. A friend was staying at a nearby hotel with about the same nightly rate, and his property was much nicer - nice landscaping, shade by the pool, much nicer breakfasts. The rooms were similar, but cleaner

Be warned that the pictures are NOT may not be what you will get. We rented the tropical king and got a room on a very loud street with curtains that didn't block out the street lights, a bed that was falling apart and holes in the walls that were not properly patched. I would have never stayed here if I knew the condition of this place! I even confirmed this was the right room. The service was very nice but that was unfortunately the only positive part of our experience as we couldn't sleep because of the noise and bright lights.

Great B&B with excellent service and friendly staff. Property in decent shape. 10-15 minute walk to Duval St but multiple dining options closer. Shout out to Roman for helping to make our stay so enjoyable.
