My wife and children were home alone one morning, sitting in the back living room when a strange man jumped over the fence, walked around the back porch feet from my terrified family, turned on the water and then jumped back over the fence. "Perfect home base for exploring the Republic/Curlew/Sherman Pass region. Private and peaceful with convenient access to the lake and close enough to Republic to get supplies. I recommend taking the path to the high point on the property, there are lots of wildflowers and amazing views with some large ponderosa pines and Douglas firs. The interior was interesting, comfortable, modern and clean."

It is located in a very private and peaceful setting. A great anchor location for day trips (like Grand Coulee Dam).
