Bridge House Apartment 2 - an apartment that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

  • A welcoming open plan living space with a stylish well equipped kitchen and dining area. There are two leather sofas and easy chair, wall mounted Smart TV, DAB Radio, I-Pod doc and solid oak furniture. The generous well appointed kitchen provides quality integrated Siemens appliances and ceramic hob.

    The tasteful master suite provides king size bed, two original Georgian windows with shutters, easy chair, and ensuite shower room.

    The warm second bedroom provides a super-king which can be made into a twin with large built-in wardrobe and cosy two seater sofa.

    The bright and vibrant third bedroom has two single beds which can be made into a super-king (please be aware a £15 charge applies). Each bedroom has a TV, solid oak furniture, luxury linens and quality furnishings.

    The main bathroom has a shower over the bath.The owners provide complimentary WI-FI, Cole & Lewis hand soaps, and some towels.

    There is a small utility room with laundry facilities.

    There are two allocated car parking spaces on the private Bridge Complex car park.

Home from home

Our stay was comfortable, nice beds, clean condition and well equipped kitchen was appreciated, made some nice cakes. Parking great. Outdoor area was an added bonus. Definitely would stay again and recommend to anyone!

Great place

Good central location 2 mins walk into town centre. Onsite parking for 2 cars which is very convenient Well presented apartment all you need for a short stay. Excellent size bedrooms, one with on suite Modern design with open plan living area. Great for couples, families or a group like us.

Convenience and comfort

Bridge House is very well situated for a trip to Keswick. Everything you need in the town is within walking distance. Comfortable and well equipped with much appreciated parking on site. Road noise can be an issue, especially early morning and, depending who's upstairs in apartment 3, lots of creaking floorboards at night! Over all a good choice for a family holiday.

Family holiday

We booked bridge house apartment 2 for the family as we also booked apartment 1 we love these apartments it was the first time the whole family came and we loved it . The apartment is so roomy and modern and is like a home from home the apartment is beautiful inside and could not wish for better outside there is a huge garden for the children which they loved and is situated on the high street we’re everything is located thank you Keswick cottages for making this the best holiday ever.will definitely be coming back.

First Class Accommodation

We stayed in this apartment previously and had no hesitation in re-booking for our annual visit to the Keswick Convention and are booked again for next year. The apartment is well presented, lounge is comfortable and the cleanliness is excellent. Keswick Cottages answer their phones with people which is very welcome indeed and are responsive and helpful. All in all a great experience.

Would have given 5 for cleanliness but bath and shower mats had black mould underneath which was unhygienic for use in bath, otherwise very clean throughout.

Brilliant holiday

Bridge House Apartment 2 proved to be an excellent choice for a 3 generation family holiday. Very central for Keswick town centre, but surprisinging quiet. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Plenty of outside space for children to run off energy. Close to 2 supermarkets, and the bus station. We hardly moved the cars all week. Beautiful views of the fells. All in all, a brilliant holiday.

Excellent apartment

This is a very spacious apartment located on the first floor of a small block of three. It is well equipped to a high standard. It was very clean and easy to keep warm considering the time of year. The car parking is very good, not a tight space like other places in Keswick. It was very comfortable, especially the bed and quality bedding. The location is very good for access to the local shops and pubs etc. Overall one of the best places we have stayed in Keswick! The booking agent, Keswick Cottages, will now be our default go to as the booking process was easy and their provision of information for access and arrival prompt and accurate.

Super place to stay

This property is ideal for those wanting a central location in Keswick. Everything is within walking distance including the supermarket and bus stops. Two parking spaces are provided and it's possible to have a holiday without moving the car. The one downside is a certain amount of traffic noise, but that is a minor inconvenience. The property itself is well equipped, well cared for, spotlessly clean, and lovely and warm - important with a bitter easterly wind outside! We shall certainly be returning.

Bridge House Apartment 2

This is the second time we have stayed at this accomodation. The rooms are spacious and clean wilh lots of storage space. The kitchen in particular has lots of storage space. The accomodation is in a convenient place near the centre of town for easy access to supermarket and restaurants, The complex has lots of outdoor tables which unfortunately due to the weather we couldn't use. The property has a separate utiluty room which is great for storing walking boots and for drying wet weather gear. When choosing a property we always select ones that have parking spaces included. This one had two which was fantastic as we had two cars, The spaces are easily accessible and not in some tight corner that many are.

Amazing Location

We had a fabulous stay in this really spacious apartment in Keswick village with its own parking sports! Beds were very comfy and we had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2kids! The shared garden was a huge bonus! The only negative we had was the noise from the upstairs apartment as they are older buildings updated to a very high standard we could hear walking very clearly from the apartment above. Unfortunately it did impact our sleep but not the children’s! Overall I would be happy to stay here again and think the location and car spaces are a huge bonus! The service and communication from the company was excellent and I would also like to commend them on their phenomenal digital guide to the area! It was amazing

Excellent but Flawed

As per a previous review, the mattress in the en-suite room is tired and requires replacement. This was our third stay so we like this apartment. That doesn’t make it perfect. The shutters on one of the windows in the en-suite room have had no latch for the last three visits. The three piece suite in the living room is old and uncomfortable. Otherwise, the flat is ideally placed and very comfortable

A comfortable apartment within walking distance of the amenities of Keswick

The apartment is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It is situated on a main road, so there is some road noise, but this didn't disturb our sleep. It was generally clean and well maintained, apart from the hob and the extractor fan grid. One of the duvets was too heavy and, after contacting the Keswick Cottages office, it was changed for a lighter one that same day. The laundry room was warm and equipped with hooks for coats, which was very welcome when it was raining. It was lovely to have the picnic tables in the courtyard for when the weather was fine. We would book it again.

Keswick trip

Lovely apartment . Great location. Nice outdoor space. Perfect for a family group. Slight drawback . Because the property is so old , the floorboards creak badly which kept waking our 3 year old grandsons up as the people upstairs walked around. Unfortunately they’re not great sleepers , unlike some kids who can sleep soundly through any noise. Other than that great.
