Surrounded by stunning views of the Newlands Valley, this beautifully renovated Georgian property is a wonderful base for exploring this magnificent part of the Lake District.

A welcoming hallway leads to three stylish lounges, providing plenty of space for everyone to unwind. The formal first lounge has a wood burner and bay windows offering stunning fell views, the second features a Smart TV and gas fire, while the snug final lounge overlooks the garden, has a Smart TV, wood burner and a selection of books. The heart of the house is the light-filled open-plan kitchen/diner/sunroom. With a wide choice of equipment, plenty of seating and a beautiful large dining table perfect for any occasion, this is a perfect space for getting together to enjoy a fabulous family get-together. The half-landing has a games room with a TV and games console. There are ten fresh bedrooms on the first and second floors, each with an en-suite bathroom. French doors lead from the sunroom out into the large and private garden. The extensive patio provides a couple of fantastic spaces for sitting back or dining alfresco, and the lawn has plenty of space for games.

With Cat Bells and Grizedale Pike nearby (within 5 miles), this is a great spot for climbers, or you can take a ferry across Derwentwater to Keswick (3.5 miles) which has plenty of activities and attractions including the Puzzling Place and Derwent Pencil Museum. Also nearby are Bassenthwaite Lake, Mirehouse and Gardens, and Skiddaw (all within 7.5 miles).
