"We stayed in 1 of the motel rooms. It was very nice, roomy, clean & quiet. Chairs just outside the door on the porch were great for sitting to read. We were there just for a stopover on our way to Moosehead Lake but it would be great for an extended stay."
"The view and staff were amazing. Beautiful to eat dinner on the porch while the sun set. The motel is not as modern so we could easily hear when the room above came in late at night and dropped their bags."
"There is no on-site staff so that takes a moment to get used to but they communicate well via text for entry codes etc. The rooms are outstanding and the building is very nice and feels very safe. Also there is a very good restaurant on-site. If you are going to Skowhegan, ME I'd highly recommend this."
"Poutine at the bar was outstanding.
Dinner not so good. We ordered Roast Beef, medium and medium rare. It was obvious the roast wasn’t a recent event as the underside was well done and the top side was approximate to our order. Obviously both pieces were reheated. Guess it worth asking when the roast took place. Day of the order or some time in the past"
