"Nicely renovated to a high standard. All the mod cons Well equipped kitchen and it was great having a washer/dryer. Great location to base yourself in the Lake District. Tasha the host replied very quickly with my questions. There is a TV in every room. They even have Alexa.I wouldn't recommend this place if you have mobility issues. "The Laurel House was amazing! Easy check in, very clean and had everything one could need . The backyard garden is beautiful and the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee and evening glass of wine. I'll definitely be back!"

"Millbrook Lodge is a lovely house - it has everything you want and more from a holiday home. We did have an issue with a beeping smoke alarm which unfortunately did not get resolved while we were there which is why I cannot give it a 5 star review."

"Annexe to owner's house. We made the best of our stay, travelled around the lakes & enjoyed the hot tub. Property is clean and tidy. However, it seems to have been neglected of late, there are some easy changes which would have made a huge difference to the quality & comfort of our stay: Key code sent just a few hrs before check in at 4pm (we were already travelling & concerned we wouldn't be able to get in on arrival; a number of light bulbs need replacing (eg only ONE of the 4 cooker hood...

"The house really is tiny - but it worked for the four of us with no problems. My granddaughter loved sleeping in the attic! Everything worked as advertised and it was warm and comfortable. We had no issues parking across the street."

A modern interior and had everything we needed.
