The space
Stay in a beautifully crafted log cabin at "TimberTales". This 2,000-square-foot cabin sits on a 2.5 acre lot and offers stunning views of the clear lake and mountains from the massive windows across the cabin. Relax on the deck with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and take in the peace and quiet. This place has lots to offer but not limited to:

Weather:

This cabin has individually controlled air conditioning for each bedroom and the loft. The loft unit also cools the living room downstairs. Summers can get hot, up to 100°F, so we've provided a tower fan in the living room for extra comfort. In the winter, the air conditioners can be used as heaters, and the fireplaces in the living room and master suite will also help keep you warm. Floor heaters will be provided during the winter months.

Bugs and Gnats:

This cabin is located near a lake, so it may attract bugs occasionally. We have provided a bug zapper for your use, but to stay away from the bugs close all the doors behind you. We have installed door opener alarms on all four sliding doors to remind you to do so. These alarms are not monitoring devices, they are simply to alert you when a door has been opened.

Final Note:

We take our sanitation and cleaning procedures very seriously. We don't want you to get sick, so we'll sanitize the heck out of this place. We'll launder all the linens and disinfect all surfaces with every new stay.

And finally, we provide one pack 'n play for your kiddo.

Navigation:

Use Apple maps if possible for the correct navigation. G-Maps will take you to the wrong exit. The roads to the cabin are marked with red signs saying "7001 Glebe". The gravel driveway is a bit steep and bumpy. We recommend AWD or 4WD, but it is not critical. You will need a car to get around and there is a market with everything you need 1 mile away.
Other things to note
Security Cameras:

There are four security cameras installed on the property's exterior. One camera is located at the main gate entrance, another is at the entrance door of the cabin, a third is in the side entrance, and the fourth is on one of the storage sheds. The neighborhood is very safe, but these help us to keep an eye on the property.

Septic:

Please keep in mind that we run on septic. So please do not flush ANYTHING that's not toilet paper. We cannot stress that enough.

Wild Life:

There are high chances to spot a family of deer and occasionally even a mama bear and her cubs. While these animals are beautiful, it's important to remember that they are wild and can be unpredictable. Do not touch or approach them, no matter how friendly they seem. Also, do not feed them or leave any food or trash outside, including on the deck or in your car.
