Beautiful, stunning views from this secluded spot. A short drive in the Dufftown and a 15 minute drive to The Glenlivet. Having a personal hot tub was a welcome treat. Tracy was a a lively host!

Absolutely beautiful
Absolutely beautiful setting. Travelling for work around the Aberdeenshire area for 3 nights and it made for a lovely tranquil place to relax at the end of long days. Perfectly set up to work at the table, relax on the sofa, cook a meal etc. Would definitely stay again and will try to when I’m next in that area again.

Lovely family holiday
A wonderful holiday for our family. Lovely quiet location with everything we needed. We all had a very comfortable nights sleep and the hot tub was well used. The twinkly lights made the hot tub quite magical at night time. Great location for exploring this area and a quiet haven to return to to enjoy the homely accommodation and very cosy hot tub. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We will be back again! Thank you

Amazing stay - Pod was easily accessible and the inside was clean. The view was wonderful and the owners sent plenty of email before my arrival to guide me easily to the location

Fantastic pod and hot tub
We had an fantastic stay at Hillside Havens. The pod was brilliant and had everything we needed. The hot tub was also great and had amazing views of the tranquil surroundings. Derek made sure we had everything we required for a fun and relaxing stay.

The hillside setting was gorgeous with amazing views across local Dufftown. So peaceful and quiet. We were fortunate enough to have clear blue skies and at night the full star sky put on a breathtaking show for us!

This place is beyond excellent. I loved staying here, my absolute favorite place I stayed on my trip in Scotland. It's out of the way but not far away from everything, if that makes sense? It's just the right amount of distance out of town. Its quiet and dark at night, with lots of sky. Great for sitting out on the little deck sipping some Scotch looking at all the stars. The family that runs the 4 little cottages was super nice and had us talking for a good 30 min just about are trip and us. And in return we told her how much we loved her little cottages. Super easy to talk to and just good people. Hope to go back one day and stay here again.

This was our best stay in Scotland. The hosts were so lovely and welcoming, and the property itself was fantastic. Very roomy, all the amenities you could want and then some, beautiful views, and a hillside walking path that takes you straight to the center of Dufftown. We were able to walk to the co-op and buy food to make in the fully stocked mini kitchen, though there were many great restaurants nearby as well. It’s very central to the many distilleries in the area. We were able to walk to Glenfiddich and Balvenie, as well as Balvenie Castle. It’s nice to be just outside of town because it’s very peaceful and quiet, just a friendly hillside of sheep next door as neighbors. I cannot wait to come back and stay at Hillside Havens again.

My wife and I recently visited Scotland and Hillside Havens was one of our favorite places we stayed. The well-appointed pods are set on a hillside farm overlooking the town of Dufftown, about a mile from town. Although cozy, there is more space than it appears and the bathroom was surprisingly large. The bed and couch were comfortable with a cute kitchen and in floor heat. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Outside, you can stroll the meadows by sheep and thru fields of barley that are used by the local Balvenie distillery. Highly recommend!

Unique and fun place to stay
We stayed only one night but wished we would have stayed 2. The host/owner was super friendly and helpful. It’s a short walk into a lovely town and to Glenfiddich distillery. The views are spectacular and it was fun to stay in a tiny house. We had a toddler with us so he slept in our bed but there’s also a pullout couch.

We had a great stay at Hillside Havens even though the weather wasn't kind! The pods are so warm and comfortable and well equipped that we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We definitely want to go back!

Fantastic little cabin with beautiful scenery
We went for one night to get away from the hustle and bustle. The cabin is well equipped with a tv, WiFi, heating, mini kitchen area, double bed, sofa bed and a toilet c/w shower. Outside there is a large table and chairs. The views around the cabin are fantastic. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. We will be going back
