"We had a great stay at the Alma inn. We stayed from Wednesday to Sunday during the Open at Royal Birkdale. This was the perfect place for us to commute to the Open, but also pull away from the crowds. We thoroughly enjoyed the views of the landscape, the breakfast as well as the terrace for a drink and dinner in the lovely summer weather. The the staff was great. They helped us out arranging breakfast earlier than normal, so we could get to the Open. Can really recommend the place, also...

"Great stay. Lovely clean rooms with great views. Very nice breakfast and friendly and helpful host. And pub with good food (and prices) just a stone's throw away. Would highly recommend."

"The hotel is nice. Lovely people at the reception. They were very helpful when I was ill and could help me to seek help. The room was also nice. Highly recommend using this host and also their property. Thanks for a great stay "

"The Devonshire Arms hotel is a really lovely place to stay. The room had everything we needed including a fridge and ironing board. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Super breakfast though there was no gluten free cereal available."

"The farm has excellent views to the surrounding countryside, and is within walking distance of Skipton. The farmhouse was spacious and the rooms were cleaned every day. Staff members were always helpful during my say, and the breakfasts were very good."

"The Old White Inn was in a great area and it was nice to stay in an authentic inn. On the second night of our stay, we were awoken by a person coming up the stairs pounding on all the doors on our floor and trying to gain access in the rooms with a key. The person was also slamming the furniture outside the hallway. This went on a few times and then we saw another person receiving deliveries at 3 in the morning and slamming the front door several times. The next morning this same person was...
