Plane Tree named after the tree at the start of Kardakata Village, was originally built shortly after the 1953 earthquake, so externally remains true to how living was in years gone by. Internally the house has undergone a full renovation. Modern clean lines throughout in a natural colour scheme – tasteful and sympathetic to it’s surroundings.
The main door leads into a small reception hall with the double bedroom leading off to the right. The owners have carefully restored the antique double bed and wardrobe, injecting a subtle test of Kefalonian history.
To the left of the main door leads directly into the new contemporary kitchen and living space. The kitchen is fully fitted with electrical appliances and utensils. A recent extension to the original building is now the home to the large bathroom.
Relax in the garden under the kabana style shade and seating. You will also find some vegetables that the owner has planted for your use.
