We were impressed with the hot water on demand and wall air conditioner/heating unit…and unlike many other places we’ve stayed, it was quiet! The house itself is on a fairly busy road, which we are not used to. We just made sure we had ear plugs to deal with the traffic (something you probably would never notice if the city is your home. "Incorrectly booked another hotel for the wrong night. Cora took us in last minute and was gracious to all of us, even making up a second bed last minute and bringing milk for evening tea. The kids enjoyed the large projection screen and the swingset outside. We couldn't get enough of the view and the beautiful decor. Very well kept and loved by the owner. "The staff at reception were very friendly and welcoming. My terrace room was comfortable and nicely appointed. I enjoyed sitting on the patio taking in the serenity and appreciated the fireplace when the weather changed overnight. The bedding is a nice quality, as was the bathrobe.
