"We stayed in one of the cabin rooms and it was a great experience. Tons of room- even for an air mattress- and it was incredibly clean. With a beach nearby, our room had a broom and dustpan right by the entrance so you can keep things clean.
The room came with a fridge and microwave, as well as a small table and chairs. Outside of the room was a little porch-style setup that had a patio furniture type bench and table so you could sit outside.

"This hotel is outdated in the best possible way— it feels like going to a rich relative's house in the 90s. Ornate and stylish, lots of character to the place. Tub also had jets, which was a great surprise. Room had a fireplace, but it was summer so they had the gas turned off. Water cooler in the lobby (very hot weather when we stayed, so this saved us), they pay for your parking in the King Street garage, room had a small window A/C unit but it got the job done very well. "There are limited parking spots. Can’t load the luggage easily. The room is very small, AC is loud, refrigerator is not keeping cool. When I checked in, the key system was down, need look for a staff to open the door for us every time."

"Booked this motel twice now. Exceptionally clean room and property. The people who own and run the motel are very friendly and helpful. I like that you park your vehicle in front of your room and it’s very affordable to stay here. Very quiet as it’s just outside Port Hope, but all amenities are within a 5-10 minute drive."
