"Kantipur Temple House lies in the tourist area of Thamel which like the rest of Kathmandu suffers from strong air pollution. But within this dusty and polluted area Kantipur Temple House is a green oasis with high walls and a beatuful garden, which literally cleans the air. "Great place to stay in Kathmandu, safe and quiet street but still close to Thamel and all the shops. The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. The manager also helped us arrange our trek - worked out perfect! The room was ok clean, and did not look like the rooms in the pictures - it was definitely much older.
