The room was really nice and clean with an amazing view of the surroundings. The food was 10/10 with a selection of both local and international options. The owners helped with arranging a jeep for the safari and were ready to help with any other requests. I would highly recommend staying at the property if you’re going for the Yala Jungle Safari. "

"Hotel a 3 km de la ville, assez éloigné sans service a proximité. Safari trés cher. J'avais résérvé une chambre mais a mon arrivée il n'y en avait pas alors on m'a proposé le dortoir au meme tarif se que j'ai refusé et aprés discussion j'ai obtenu une tente-chambre. Trés bien dans la grosse savane mais prés de la grande route pas nécessaire du tout. Personnel serviable mais on sans que l'argent et le but premier du centre. "

We had to walk a long distance on foot, during which we encountered wild animals — an extremely unsafe situation. "First of all, when I went to 'Palugaha pilgrim resort' it was locked. Even the mobile was not reachable. I had booked this thro' Expedia. Fortunately the auto rickshaw driver was knowledgeable about the place so took us to a nearby place. This did not have any name but there was someone to entertain us. He claimed that was the Palugaha resort & also said there was no intimation from Expedia reg my booking. However, he was kind enough to arrange the room for us. After that, everything was fine....

"We enjoyed our stay at Cinnamon Wild Yala. We did the stargazing with Kasun. We saw the moon and Saturn and enjoyed the view and the discussion with Kasun. Glad we did this activity! We also went on a nature walk with Gayan Gamage on the 16th of october 2024, and it was absolutely amazing. He was super friendly and knew a lot about the nature and the tracking of the animals. It was very interesting, and we saw a lot of the local animals. We hightly recommend this to anyone who likes the nature...

"The Chaarya Resort and Spa is a gorgeous hotel set in a beautiful palm tree lined property. They have a very refreshing pool, a cool outdoor bar, pool table, games area, gym and spa facilities. "A special place close to Yala that makes you feel like you’re in the park. Small staff was so friendly and lovely, and I felt well taken care of. Delicious meals—often candlelit and with an outdoor grill. Room was air conditioned and well appointed, despite the jungle setting. Only caution: there probably will be some wildlife in your bathroom! They also organized my safaris in the park, as well as pick ups and drop-offs, which I appreciated."
