"We were a honeymoon couple and we were not given the category of room which we had asked for and booked for- floating room. Whilst booking we had called the hotel that we particularly want the floating room when booked with expedia but not given. Even the staff is lousy. Expedia staff kept calling the hotel but the night Reception staff kept hanging their phone without answering and finally kept the phone aside.spoiled our honeymoon plans. "

"Really sweet spot just off the beach up a commerce alley. Jishnu the host was very nice and helpful with getting comfortable. Hot shower if you want it - but I’ve learned to love taking cold showers here - and the bathroom was perfectly clean and well appointed. I will be back here at the Gypsy next year for sure."

"We stayed here as it was close to my friends wedding that we attended. We were happy to stay here for two night. It was comfortable for the duration of the stay. "This was my favorite hotel that I stayed in while in Kerala. The service was top notch - the staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and memorable! The property sits right on the water. The rooms are spacious. The food was wonderful. They helped me coordinate a canoe ride through the backwaters. In order to get to the property in this prime location, the car ride is on a small dirt road at the end."

"The Deshadan Cliff & Beach Resort was as promised with all amenities including free wifi, parking and swimming pool. The rates were slightly on the higher side owing to the holidayyum season but still not exorbitant for the amenities offered. Location was perfect and at walking distance from the beach and cliff. The rooms were clean and spacious enough with private washroom and all essential toiletries provided. Air conditioning too was fine as was the television with required channels...
