"Beautiful and historic building with excellent rooms. The art galleries in the hotel were a fun to tour even if not all the art was to my taste. The Savoy restaurant in the hotel served me one of the best steaks and cocktails I have ever had, but it was appropriately very expensive. I would recommend the hotel and restaurant to everyone, and although you should expect to pay a pretty penny, I believe the experience and food is worth it at least to try once. The area in the city is very nice and...

"Hotel is cute and old fashioned. Lots of character. However, once I notified the front desk that I had a small dog I was asked if it was a service dog? They said only service dogs were allowed and it is $70 extra. I told the person that I specifically chose pet friendly option when trying to find a place and that this hotel came up, amongst others. He said that $70 is common, which I disagree. We had other hotels not charge at all and others only $20-25. "
