Watch the breathtaking sunrise over Mauna Kea on the lounge chairs just off of the master lanai or grill and gather with friends & family, at sunset, on the expansive, made-for-entertaining lanai downstairs.

Upon arrival at “Mauna Hihio”, our goal is to ensure you feel at home and able to unwind and enjoy the island! We are directly across the pool area for added convenience and beaches are about a mile away. Our villa is fully equipped so you have everything you need for a flawless vacation. This condo also comes with an access card to the private Mauna Lani Beach Club.

Mauna Lani Beach Club Pass: Your stay will include a pass card to the private parking area for the Mauna Lani Beach Club. The Mauna Lani Beach Club is a beach area on the South end of the Mauna Lani Resort. It is a white sandy cove with calm water. There are lounge chairs available on a first come, first serve basis. There is a full service restaurant adjacent to the beach area.

Our unit also offers privilege at nearby Waikoloa Beach Resort Golf’s KINGS' CLUB! We are Gold members of the Kings' Club and we invite you to utilize our golf membership during your stay. You will be blown away by the incredible savings from regular rate.

Discounted rates for golf for up to 6 guests at the 27-hole Waikoloa golf course:
Design your round of 18 for $80/person before 11am and $60 after 11am, tax not included. The club offers golf club rentals for $25/set. There are no restrictions to specific days or times and play is unlimited! Reservations will be coordinated by our on-island concierge, Allyson.

Beach Equipment: 6 beach chairs, 2 boogie boards, two beach umbrellas and one small portable cooler. Various Snorkeling masks and fins available and beach toys.

Bicycles: 4 beach cruisers, one men’s bike + 5 helmets

Air Conditioning: Central air conditioning throughout.

BBQ: Private Lanai area features a built in gourmet grilling area

Non-Smoking: All of Golf Villas is Non Smoking. Many of the gated condo complexes are completely smoke free (including e cigarettes) within the entire gated complex.

Hair Dryer: There are hairdryers in each bathroom.


Baby Equipment: Due to safety/sanitation/liability we do not provide baby equipment. Please refer to our Concierge Service page on for local company that rents, delivers and picks up baby equipment.


Parking: Parking for one car in the garage and one car in a reserved parking stall. Maximum two cars allowed.

Hot Tub: One community hot tub

Golf Villas at Mauna Lani N1 is located in the N Building at the Golf Villas at Mauna Lani. Offering plenty of room for entertaining family and friends. This vacation home is a perfect place for a relaxing vacation!

The Golf Villas at Mauna Lani are a gated condominium community at the south end of the Mauna Lani Resort on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. The Mauna Lani Beach Resort is a master planned world class resort with Golf Courses, shopping and dining. The Shops at Mauna Lani have restaurants, shops and a grocery store.

All of our vacation rentals include a basic “start-up supply” of: laundry detergent, garbage bags, kitchen sponge, liquid soap, dishwasher liquid, paper towels, toilet paper, conditioning shampoo, all-purpose cleaner and salt/pepper. Cooking oils, condiments, spices, food storage bags, plastic wrap and aluminum foil are not provided. Once the startup supply runs out, guests can restock at nearby grocery stores.

We have stayed in many units at the Mauna Lani Golf Villas over the years, and this experience was by far our favorite. The sunrises and bird song were unforgettable, but what made the trip outstanding was the attentive service of our fabulous host Allison. Highly recommend this and her!!

AMAZING STAY!

This is one of the best Golf Villa units we have stayed at. Everything you need to make a memorable trip. We stayed 10 days in June 2025. The unit is super clean, it has a great location right across from the pool, and had the best stalked kitchen and garage we have ever experienced. The fridge had so many basics which was amazing, plus there was a thoughtful surprise of coffee, macadamia nuts and wine in a much appreciated welcome basket. So often when you check into a vacation rental, the refrigerator is completely emptied out, but at this location, it was stocked with so many basics, which was such a money and time saver! The garage was fully stalked as well with bikes, boogie boards and even coolers, and the hallway closet had a bunch of sunscreens and instant repel ants and even first aid supplies which was incredibly handy . The only constructive feedback was the locking of the air conditioner at a cap of 72, which I was very nervous about at first, but it actually turned out ok. We had family staying at an adjacent condo and their air conditioner was capped at 74 which made for some uncomfortably warm nights… so ultimately the temperature worked for us. We would absolutely stay at this beautiful condo again, based on all of the above and more.

Everything you need and want

Absolutely Perfect and the morning view from the master bedroom is STUNNING

We have been to the Big Island several times before.Each place we stayed is unique but this was the best.It is more expensive than the other properties we stayed but worth every bit more. We love to golf and found this a perfect spot to get to some great courses in the area. This place has everything you need and comfy beds and furniture to. You can tell the owners take pride in having a wonderful home and rental.

Great getaway

Overall the property was great! The condo was very inviting and had plenty of room for the four of us. The host was amazing and open to answering any questions we had. We even had an issue with one of the blinds during our stay and they had someone out to fix it almost immediately. The only drawback to the community was the pool. It did not look like the pictures and it was cold and dirty. It was disappointing because we were really looking forward to spending time by the pool and in the hot tub, but it did not look inviting in person.Overall though, the place was fantastic and I would book again knowing that we wouldn’t be expecting to utilize the pool or hot tub.

Hawaii family reunion

We stayed at this unit from April 30th through May 7th, 2024. There were 6 adults. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the entire stay! The Mauna Lani area was beautiful and we had so many extra amenities. We had everything we could possibly want such as use of golf cart (for fee), lanai dining and much more. It was extremely well maintained and the property manager, Allyson, was so responsive to any of our questions and so helpful with ideas on things to do. We really loved this property and would 100% recommend It to a family or group coming to the Big Island.

Fantastic!!!

Exceptional rental experience all around. The home had absolutely everything we needed. Beautiful home, fabulous patio and birds and well resourced kitchen - even the knives were sharp. Proximity to the beautiful pool and the rented golf cart for playfully getting around the resort were an added plus.

Love this property

The property was perfect for our three generations. Lots of room, across from pool and workout area and a short drive to our favorite beach at Mauna Lani Beach Club. Allyson, the concierge, was extremely responsive to our questions and any requests. We have never had a concierge with a Vrbo booking and her assistance was invaluable. We have visited the Big Island several times and this property is now one of our favorites.

Beautiful Villa

Our stay in the villa was amazing! Very clean, comfortable and quiet. The kitchen was well appointed, the furniture was comfortable and the villa was very clean. The location was a short drive to the Kings Shops area where we often went for dinner. Sunrise on the balcony each morning was a peaceful way to start the day. Access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club was helpful for an easy place to relax and snorkel. Overall a great stay for our family of 6.

Awesome Experience!

We loved our stay at the N1 Golf Villa! It had absolutely everything we needed and more. The condo is beautiful and has lots of space for our extended family of 3 couples and one baby. We took full advantage of the beach club and the golf discounts. We also loved having all of the beach gear and the bikes. This area is so nice for biking, walking along the ocean and golfing. There were good amenities very close by so we didn't have to travel far for groceries or restaurants. Allyson was very helpful providing excellent information to us before our arrival. We will definitely return to this area and this condo.

Very Awesome stay on Kohala Coast!

Our (extended) family of 7 had a WONDERFUL stay at this townhouse at the Mauna Lani Golf Villas. The townhouse was very clean and very well stocked with kitchen starters (and then some), as well as towels and beach towels, etc. We had 7 adults and there was plenty of space! The views onto the golf course were great and we thoroughly used Allyson's book of ideas (and tiny-url) to plan our trip. Very helpful! Thank you, Allyson! Lastly - the "toys" in the garage made the stay even better. There were enough beach chairs for all of us. 2 boogie boards, beach umbrellas and the bikes!! So great to have access to these!! Last, last - the poke bowls at the nearby Foodland were awesome!! Highly recommend this place!!

Wonderful Home!

We loved our stay! The house was roomy and well appointed. The backyard space and patio are wonderful. We filled the bird feeder every day and were surrounded by many species of amazing birds. The home is directly across the street from the beautiful pool area and is very close to the entrance gate which makes coming and going very easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend! The only drawback - which proved to not be a huge deal was the hot water was merely lukewarm. The “toys” provided in the garage were such a huge help and made it so easy to enjoy the beach and pool with our grandbabies.

Wonderful Getaway!

This location and home were absolutely perfect for our family getaway! The home is fully equipped with everything you need- kitchen items, extras, books, etc. The garage came with golf clubs, beach chairs and unbrellas- all critical for beach and golf activities and made it so easy and enjoyable. The outlook from the decks is beautiful, loved the Mauna Lani Beach Club access, snorkeling, golfing and this location is convenient to everything. Hope to stay here again on my next trip to the Big Island!

Fantastic!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Villa! You couldn't ask for a better place to stay. From the welcome goodies, equipped kitchen , the great outdoor area, the garage with chairs, snorkel equipment, bikes (and much more gear) and the access to the private beach club we couldn't have picked a better place to enjoy the big island! It was so nice to enjoy our coffee and breakfast at the outdoor area and listen to the island come awake with the sunrise and birds singing there songs. Thanks for providing a perfect place to enjoy our visit to the island!

Great townhouse for a family trip

We had never been to the big island and asked around before determining we wanted to stay in the resort areas north of Kona. The location was on the golf course with a breath taking view of the sunrise over the mountains to start each day. The property concierge was very attentive in communication before and during our stay. Access to the beach club parking was very helpful and close. A huge benefit was the beach gear in the garage. So nice to have chairs, umbrella and cooler when going to the beach. We has an incredible trip with our adult children and son-in-law.
