5/16/2025 - Important Notice Regarding Hawaii Transient Accommodation Tax
We’d like to inform you of a potential change to Hawaii’s Transient Accommodation Tax (TAT). The State of Hawaii is currently considering legislation that may increase the TAT, effective January 1, 2026.
Please note:
-If this change becomes law, any bookings made before the law passes, for stays in 2026 or later, will be subject to the new tax rate.
-In such cases, the additional tax amount will be charged separately, as required by the state.
