"Smukt bygget hotel med meget fredelig og venlig atmosfære. Vidunderligt varmt og fint havvand, ingen vandscotere eller andre støjende fritidsaktiviteter. Mulighed for snorkling direkte ud for hotellet, og dykning kan arrangeres. Restauranten på første sal er smukt indrettet og serverer dejlige fiskeretter, god service.
Værelserne er store med fine badeværelsesfaciliteter, privat terrasse, der dog manglede møbler.

"The location is GREAT! Cool to be among the jungle animals and at the wonderful beach. BUT! this 5 star hotel doesnt manage to get the basics straight. Dirty bathroom, mosquito nets broken, rusty things in the bathroom, food at dinner bad & cold and very expensive for Asian food and especially of that quality!, no toilet paper holder in the toilets, no light in the public toilets etc. They want to unfold your napkin at dinner, but the napkin ends up having been used before, is not ironed......

"Fantastic 5 star hotel with excellent service. Stayed in oceanwing and it was perfect. Rooms are big and well equipped. Pool is lovely and not crowded. Beach is beautiful. Breakfast is the best. A fantastic hotel to chill in. Far from KK though!"

"The Shangti-La is just a step up from other hotels. Yes, it's big and busy but the staff go out of their way to really spoil you. I'm vegan and they bent over backwards to ensure I had a great breakfast, sent soy milk to my room tweaked dishes so I ate well. And the location - oh my. We stayed in a garden room and could walk straight out looking at the sea. Room had a shower and a bath, was well stocked. Water in the fridge every day. Their Spa was great too. I can't think of anything bad about...

"Fantastisk sted, flot resort og rigtig flot strand, super service fra du kommer til du rejser igen, specialt fra receptionen og specialt fra Melwey og Florina som vi havde mest med at gøre, de var utrolige og altid smilende og hjælsomme, bedre personale kan man ikke få, det eneste minus vi kan sige var at der flere gange at man ikke kunne få det det stod på menukortet, det var både mad og drikke, dette burde kunne gøres bedre, men alt i alt fantastisk sted som vi meget gerne vil tilbage til."

Even the busy elevators where quick, there are 3 elevators opperating, so no waiting there too! Really good for the price!"

"The Soluxe hotel is very nice. The room and bathroom was big and clean.
The swimminpool area was nice, although the water in the pool was a bit cold.
The breakfast buffet was fine, but it had mostly Asian dishes. The restaurant only serves halal food; we missed bacon and sausages :-)"

Der er en mindre cafe´ med mulghed for både morgenmad, frokost og aftensmad (maden var god og meget for pengene) men ikke restaruant på stedet. Der er fin restaurant og cafe på hotel Nexos som ligger 20-25 min. gang fra resortet (langs stranden).

"Get a room on 8th or 9th floor, which are nice and fairly new - below the 8th you do feel like been in a prison due to crazy architecture with bars in front of windows! Standard room not nice! Breakfast is not for European and very low standard. The mall below is fine and the hotel is fairly central!"
