"Fantastisk beliggenhed, uendelig hjælpsom staff og alt i alt rigtig, rigtig fint."

"This is a rather inexpensive hotel but it is also not worth a cent more than the price. There was no cleaning even once during my one week stay. This is apparently a feature and you have to pay more to have room cleaning. All in all the staff were cold and it's the worst hotel i have stayed in out of the last 20 at least. Heating is through aircon so the air becomes incredibly unpleasant and dry. The one good thing is the location."

"Great place. It was even better than we expected!"

"Space is beautiful and staff is helpful and friendly."

"Our room was clean and spacious. Finding it was a challenge for the local cab driver. The breakfast was just breads but I enjoyed the mugwort rolls! I’d recommend that they add a washer/dryer to some rooms. Also, the sleeping clothes were a little worn. Mine was missing an important button. The staff were friendly but it could be hard to communicate with them over the phone."

"料理はとても美味しく頂きました。 昼とは別世界のように静かな空間で良かったです。 竹林含め朝からゆっくり散策も楽しめて、自然を感じることができました^_^ 早朝の散歩がとても気持ちよかったです。"

"This is only sort of kind of the whole property, Kyoto has very strict tax laws and needs to have a front desk and therefore part of the property is that, additionally the upper floors are inhabited, but none of that matters really because of how wonderful the people and the space are."

"Very sweet staff. Room was very nice! The onsen was amazing. Breakfast was so good. We were very happy with our stay and will come back one day."
