"My wife and I wanted to “slow travel” for a few days and found this place on VRBO. It’s a 100-yr old traditional coastal home.
It is directly across the road (there is a convenient tunnel under the road) from Zaimokuza and Yuigahama beaches and there is a bus stop right outside the door for a 15 min ride to/from Kamakura Station. The #40 bus is reliable and easy. Don’t bother with a taxi.
It is also a 15-min walk to the Enoden train, which follows the coastline and goes to Hase and Enoshima...
"Very nice hotel close to the station and the city. Unless you like Japan breakfast dont order. One cup of coffe or one glas of juice is incl not both and not any refill "
"It was a very enjoyable stay at this culturally authentic accomodation.The city is incredibly charming and peaceful and this villa fits perfectly with that atmosphere.
