A Fantastic Stay at WeBase Kamakura!
We had an absolutely wonderful time at WeBase Kamakura. The customer service was outstanding from the moment we arrived – truly some of the best we've experienced! Our room was incredibly nice and comfortable, providing the perfect relaxing space after a day of exploring. Plus, you can't beat being so close to the beach! The amenities were excellent too, adding to a thoroughly enjoyable and convenient stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at WeBase Kamakura. The customer service was outstanding from the moment we arrived – truly some of the best we've experienced! "Bushi-san was the best host. He makes the whole experience and even speaks very good English. We experienced a tsunami warning and had to cancel our flight back home. Bushi allowed us to stay another night. He was very good with the kids. He made lots of jokes, let kids try out the samurai weapons and armor, and even made shaved ice with our kids. "Guesthouse Irodori was very interesting, and I'm happy me and my 88 year old, Japanese-born mother stayed here. At first thought, one would think it very strange that an Japanese/American Grandma and her 64 y.o. American daughter would stay at a "Minshuku" type of house. "My wife and I wanted to “slow travel” for a few days and found this place on VRBO. It’s a 100-yr old traditional coastal home.
It is directly across the road (there is a convenient tunnel under the road) from Zaimokuza and Yuigahama beaches and there is a bus stop right outside the door for a 15 min ride to/from Kamakura Station. The #40 bus is reliable and easy. Don’t bother with a taxi.
It is also a 15-min walk to the Enoden train, which follows the coastline and goes to Hase and Enoshima...
"My wife and I wanted to “slow travel” for a few days and found this place on VRBO. It’s a 100-yr old traditional coastal home.
It is directly across the road (there is a convenient tunnel under the road) from Zaimokuza and Yuigahama beaches and there is a bus stop right outside the door for a 15 min ride to/from Kamakura Station. The #40 bus is reliable and easy. Don’t bother with a taxi.

"We had an amazing time staying at the Amber house in Zaimokuza. The amenities were excellent, the house has all kitchenware stocked, and the parking spot right out front was very convenient and fit our rental SUV. It is a little tricky pulling in/out of the narrow driveway but one of the neighbors came and helped us. The beach is just steps away (look for the underpass walkway, don't cross the road) and also close to the Drop-In Cafe for great lattes. We would love to come back some day!"

"Alt var meget flot, pænt og rent. Personalet var meget venligt. God service. Der var bare ikke meget at lave på hotellet. I poolen tog folk KONSTANT billeder/fotos, så man ikke kunne være der. Det bør forbydes at have kamera med i poolen!!!
Man kunne/måtte ikke nyde noget drikkelse i lobbyen eller på terrassen, hvilket gjorde det lidt kedeligt. Flot udsigt, men ingen mulighed for hygge med snack samtidig med at nyde den flotte udsigt ud over byen.
