"Outside shower was pleasant experience once I got used to idea! Walk to lava beach on property was extraordinary experience. Breakfast Food was excellent. Hosts were generous, kind and thoughtful. Lack of central air was disappointing but numerous fans helped a lot and open screened windows let breezes in. Still humid though. Loud Background noise of night critters was not a problem. Actually soothing and comforting after a day of traveling. "

"This home is perfection. The location is quiet, private, and a bit remote, which is exactly what we wanted. The home itself is extremely well appointed and immaculately clean. Cooking was easy in the very well equipped kitchen. Listening to the waves at night was very relaxing and perhaps our favorite part was the very short walk to the lava cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. I would not hesitate to stay here again."

"Truly a delightful experience. I was having work done on my home, so we stayed here for two weeks of fun! It was tranquil, clean, comfortable. A nice bathtub with plenty of toiletries. You may not see it in the pics, but they provide all the kitchen appliances/flatware you might need. Lots of lush greenery right up against the lava rock fields right up against the ocean. "What an amazing experience it was staying out on the lava. Epic sunrise and sunset everyday, ocean view, starry nights like nowhere else, rainbows occur often and got to see my first ever "moonbow" under a full moon so bright you'd have to shade your eyes to keep from squinting!! The hale itself is well stocked, clean and cozy.
