Great Maui Stay!

Great family vacation

This unit is on the corner and has lovely views of the ocean and pool. I was able to go up to the room with my little ones while my husband stayed down with the older kids very easily, or for a quick swim in the ocean or pool. Beach does have some coral but still swimmable. Unit had everything we needed with all the extras. The complex was full of families. We were very happy with this unit and a great family holiday.

Perfect indulgence

We loved our stay at honua Kai! The suite was gorgeous and the wrap around patio was the best part ! We spent a lot on days just staring at the ocean , where we saw lots of humpbacks ❤️ Our only issue was the shower in the master suite which was causing a puddle to form with a loooot of water. We had to mop it up everyday. But not a big deal considering everything else

Just beautiful

I’m still here enjoying my last cup of coffee on a balcony before heading home today. This condo is beautiful with a gorgeous view. Balcony is spectacular with extra seating for everyone. I would love to come back here one day and without a doubt I would recommend this apartment to my friends and family.

Wonderful Stay

What can be said, this is a beautiful place overlooking the ocean. We got lucky to watch the whale migration and could see from our balcony. The unit was very clean, communicating with the property manager was excellent. Overall wonderful stay would absolutely stay here again!

Adult Family Time in Maui

We had a fantastic stay at Honua Kai 615. The unit was exactly as advertised-- very comfortable and the GORGEOUS view we were hoping for! The only issue was "spotty" wi-fi access, which created a few challenges and several calls to resolve.

Our family of five enjoyed our stay at the Honua Kai. The condo was fully furnished and the beach going amenities provided were great. The kitchen has everything needed to cook during your stay. View from the wrap around balcony is superb. I would recommend the owners install more hooks or towel racks in the bathrooms. It was challenging to find areas to dry out bath towels. Also, providing coffee filters would be great. Other than those small suggestions, everything else was perfection!

Beautiful Clean Unit, exceptional view

Amazing view of the Ocean and adjacent Islands. Early April whale watching is as easy as walking onto your spectacular 6th floor deck. The unit is very well maintained and clean. The grounds and gardens of the resort are beautiful and very well maintained. The BBQ grills are cleaned daily and work very well serving as a social centre to meet like minded visitors. The pools are clean and well maintained with fantastic beaches and snorkelling right out your back door. I highly recommend this Unit and this resort to those who want to experience the old school pace of Kaanapali and the laid back Zen of this resort.

Our unit was beautiful. Whale watching incredible!

Our unit 615 was beautiful and equipped with everything we needed. We had a few issues which were taken care of immediately. The AC for the master bedroom never really worked properly. The other AC for bedroom 2 worked great. The grounds are in good shape. The BBQ area by the pool was very useful. Our biggest complaint would be the beach, or lack of. If we were doing a beach day we would drive to another location. Not that that's a bad thing. We got to explore the island more. However when paying for a beachfront resort we would have liked to have been able to use the beach on the property. If we were to visit Kaanapli we would stay here again.

Beautiful resort, wonderful location. Apartment is new, all furnishings and appliances are top notch

Stayed there for 5 days. Apartments are some of the newest in maui and everything was beautiful, top quality and working. Grills are cleaned everyday by the pool and it was great being able to cook our own meals there.

Perfect

We stayed six nights in unit 615 (two bedroom unit). It was an incredible place, completely relaxing from the moment we entered the room. We watched whales breach from the balcony, and other hotel guests play in the grass and in the pool below us. It's a wonderfully appointed condo with fantastic views and an unbeatable location. Awesome vacation.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom, ocean front unit. It was on the 6th floor and had a wrap around balcony...Beautiful. My husband and I stayed for 12 nights. We had guests for 4 of the nights who used the 2nd bedroom. This was are second visit to Honua Kai. Love the location. No the construction was not an issue. Yes there were many rainbows but only rained 1 night Management company communicated with us (getting us in a bit before the 4:00 check in, housekeeping, parking pass, vases etc) Yes the shower in Master bath has a bit of a problem with a wet floor after each shower Yes there are kids at the pool...need to go to the other building for quieter pool time I purchased flowers to brighten the place up as there is no artwork in bathrooms We love the Barbecue areas and also spent several evenings at Dukes Overall....it is a very nice property.....yes I would go again

We found Shangri La!

Thank you Maui Resort Realty for making our stay in this beautiful property the best vacation we've ever experienced. The service was top notch, even meeting us at the property and getting us settled in. I'm reluctant to tell how amazing this unit is, as I feel that we found our personal paradise! Awesome experience with Maui Reality, they were available for any/all needs and responded immediately to emails and calls. The unit is gorgeous, we especially loved sitting on the wrap around lanai at sunset each night. The ocean view is awesome. The kitchen has all high end appliances and every cooking gadget you can think of... making meal prep fun. Konua Kai is situated one light away from Times Grocery store, which is a plus. Overall excellent experience.

Our family LOVED our accommodations and the service we received from Maui Reality. Most Everything was fantastic. Great location and the facilities were great. Two suggestions are: 1. It would have been nice to have had a vacuum cleaner available and the master bathroom shower does not seal the water in and we would have to towel dry the floor following every shower. Both of these are minor compared to the overall wonder experience we had and we would love to return there in the future.

Beautiful Unit

The Unit is one of the nicest in the property. Very large with full ocean view. Two bedrooms with two full baths. Living room/family room is a great living space. Unit is well kept and nearly new. The only issue is with the master bath. When taking a shower, water ends up the floor in much quantity. It seems it enters from the shower stall onto the bathroom floor via of the corner door near the wall.

Perfect Holiday Stay!

The placement of this condo is fantastic. The lanai is huge enough that all five of us could be out there doing our own thing without bothering one another. We had many a meal looking out over the fantastic ocean view. The nana doors kept the tradewinds circulating and the condo remained cool all day long. The bedrooms were large enough for two people to share. Having an attached bath was nice. The kitchen is decently stocked with pots, pans, skillets as well as various bowls, silverware, drinkware and plates. Big fridge. We cooked at least once a day and The trash room was just around the corner so it wasn't a problem at all to take the trash out and keep the unit clean during our stay. There's a washer and dryer in the unit as well. Maui Resort Realty provides you with some dishwashing and laundry tabs (it would have been nice to have twice the amount needed, as some days we needed to do more than one load.) They also give you several rolls of TP per bathroom and a roll of paper towels. The Honua Kai's grounds were lovely. The beach is just steps away from the building, as well as one of the pools and Duke's. The little shop in the Hokulani tower has really good sandwiches and lattes, but no milk or bread so if you need those, you can head across the street to the Times market or to the Safeway in Lahaina. Duke's has great food and excellent service. We ate there several times and were never disappointed. There are several beach towels and 4 beach chairs and a beach umbrella in one of the closets, along with a cooler. Plenty to keep you happy for a day at the beach. There's construction next door, but we didn't hear any of it and the unit doesn't face it at all. Cons: the coffeemaker is on its last legs. Not really that big a deal, but just a note. The shower enclosure in the master leaked. I think it was just the nature of the hinge, but no matter how we placed the showerhead, water always puddled out so we just put a towel there before a shower. The dryer also tends to make the area near the bedroom humid - but with the nana doors open and the ceiling fans, it's easy enough to remedy. Maui Resort Realty was wonderful to work with! Elise was our contact and met us smiling with leis after a very long travel day. She showed us the condo and how to work everything and checked in on us to be sure things were going well. I would absolutely use them (and this condo) again.
