Our stay just happened to coincide with a heat wave and it was very hot and a bit challenging with opening the windows since our room was located just above the rubbish area. We kept the windows closed a lot to avoid the smell and the flies. They were very helpful in providing a fan, lots of ice and water to help keep us cool. We recommend booking directly so if you need to request a room change, it would be easier to accommodate that...

Yesterday we arrived and we imidately saw that the staff was overloaded, simply not enough staff. Only 1 bartender who was also a waiter. Tables outside was a mess and the service stood all day on the tables so we had to move glasses, cups and plates our selves. After waiting 15 minutes for service but nobody was there we went to the bar. We ordered and waited 30 minutes for two tuna...

"Went for my partners 60th birthday to go to sandown races, convenient by only being a 25 min walk from the lodge to the gates of the racecourse. Edwina was lovely, very friendly and the sort of person you could have a laugh with. Breakfast was vwry nice and plentiful. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Very reasonable prices. "

"Great hotel directly at Chessington World of Adventures. Everything is themed very nicely and a lot of the rooms and restaurants have a view directly on the Safari park and some of the animals. Absolutely lovely.
Customer service was also great, especially by Malakaib."
