Just out the back door is a small stream running through the property with a bridge that takes you to a grassy area to sit and enjoy the river with an amazing view of the Eagle Cap Mountains.
Surrounded by fresh mountain air, and the sound of a rushing river you’ll be within walking distance of hiking trails, a mountain-top tramway, go carts, scenic lake views, miniature golf courses and the fun atmosphere of the Head of Wallowa Lake, considered the Alps of Oregon. A ten minute drive around the beautiful lake will take you to the charming shops, art galleries, and restaurants of downtown Joseph.

The outdoor space is partially shared with the neighboring home, which is also a short-term rental. There is no fence separating the properties, and the designated yard area for this home is limited to a small section closest to the house (approximately 6 feet out). We kindly ask guests to be respectful of the neighboring property and avoid using their yard space.

A beautiful river runs near the property, creating a relaxing and natural backdrop to your stay. The home also features a small deck to take in the surroundings, though it is not equipped with a railing. For safety, we recommend close supervision of children at all times.
